i'm guessing VCB
Word is it's a veteran male sprinter who's currently a member of the MVP track club.
Pick one out of this list..
Usain Bolt
Shelly-Ann Fraser
Melaine Walker
Veronica Campbell-Brown
Dwight Thomas*
Michael Frater
Nesta Carter
Asafa Powell
Sherone Simpson
Kerron Stewart
Shericka Williams
Bobby-Gaye Wilkins*
Shereefa Lloyd
Rosemarie Whyte
Novlene Williams
Shericka Williams
My guesses
1. Kerron Stewart
2. Melaine Walker
3. Sherone Simpson
I hope it's Bolt though... I'll have more faith that WADA and IAAF are actually trying to clean up the sport at any cost. Wishful thinking though....
guessing from first round of W 4x400
If it's on the men's side Bolt stands to lose either 1 or 3 medals. If it's on the women's side, unless it's the 4x400, an American woman can be elevated up to a gold, silver or bronze. In sum, either Bolt's legacy gets at least a little tainted or it's very likely that a US lady gets an upgrade. I really hope it's not just the 4x400.

This is the only thing 'Mericans care about: winning the medal count.

I see what you did there you sneaky guy.
From informal sources: not Bolt. I agree that BGW seems a good guess, as she DQed her national team in 2010 (world indoors) for andarine. With Firova and Kapachinskaya already mentioned in positive A samples, this would lead to big changes in the women 4x400 podium.
Anyway those are mere speculations, within a few days results of B samples will be announced which should enable to make all names public.

If this thread is even remotely close to part of the truth the sport is about to be in the news again in a bad way.
I hope its not who I think it is.
2 doper times Gatlin keeps knocking out fast times in his mid thirties, doper Merritt is going sub 44, Dibaba is running 5 seconds faster than any other clean time and Bolt is clean as a whistle while the Jamaican sprint system is demonstrated to have been buily on dopoping - we can be re-assured WADA is cleaning up the sport by banning Russians from events nobody is interested in!
"The Jamaican Observer reports that the athlete failed for banned stimulant methylhexanamine.
insidethegames understands that the athlete involved is not Usain Bolt, the six-time Olympic champion and world record holder in the 100 and 200 metres."
If it's really methylhexanamine, it's the same stimulant that Yohan Blake (and many others) were busted for in 2009. Was it even banned in 2008?
Again Yohan Blake did not test positive for methlyhexanamine, how many times must it be stated that if Blake and others had gone to CAS they would have won their case because methylxantine was not on the banned list.
Methlyhexanamine wasn't even on the banned list in 2008. I'll wait for official word before I castigate.

What did Blake test positive for then? It was claimed that his ban was because 2009 (and 2008) WADA lists included 'tuaminoheptane and other substances with a similar chemical structure or similar biological effect(s)'.
Cue sprintgeezer in 3.....2......1.......
Nesta Carter is not competing at all this season. Strange.
According his twitter profile, and some photos, Dwight Thomas is currently training with David Oliver, in Florida. (In Brooks Johnson's group?)
Sadly, the more time that goes by, the more correct he looks.
