I'll try and make my way over, I work in Boston so it isn't too far away. That mile is going to be good, especially with a lot of locals in it.
Cool! I'm all the way at the South Shore and on a school day it would just take way too long to make it after practice.
Too bad I might be missing a possibly historic moment.

It's crazy to look at it that way. A 4:01.5 is ONLY the #4 high schooler of the year. Let's hope this becomes the norm.
No kidding, that is probably still top ~15 all-time
To clarify, is Ratcliffe running the mile tomorrow and then the 2 mile in the all state meet?
Wonder what's next for him?

Yes that's the only thing he qualified for at divisional, so its that or he doesn't race.
I doubt a record is going if he just ran all out 2 days before.
WORST FREAKING MEET EVER.
NO RESULTS ON ANY HOME PAGES.
RUNNERSPACE AND HOKA SUCK!!!!!!!!!
He definitely could have. He seemed to be boxed a little bit at some points earlier in the race too. Also, he had to start in the second row behind the line. Not ideal circumstances, and I think he has a faster time in him.

Sanchez does have the indoor record with an 8:49 in that legendary race where Andy Powell ran 8:50 as well. I think it's on YouTube somewhere...

If he had someone pushing him, rat could take down 8:49.
He's a 4:01 miler, ran 8:57 solo, and just closed a 9:03 2 mile in 55 seconds.
He can take 8 seconds off his pr.
