Elite runners making fun of Letsrun.com on twitter

Alternate title: Athletes living under poverty line and corrupt governing body make fun of their only fan base

I'm 24 and made $57,000 last year at work and a few gift certicates and few hundred from road races all while enjoying my life. I'm gonna chirp at those dweebs all I want living below the poverty line with even lower testosterone

Lots of people (like the ones mentioned here) bash letsrun for being too hateful. Maybe it is, but does anyone doubt that the fans of other pro sports are the same way? People are passionate about sports, and sometimes that leads to them being illogically hateful toward certain teams/athletes. It's the way the sporting world works.

There's this strange idea that professional running should be one big friendship circle where everybody loves everybody else. That's boring, and perhaps that's part of the reason why track isn't that popular. Intense rivalries and controversial athletes are good! Example: look at the recent steph curry thread-it went many pages on here, even though this is a "running forum". Whether they love or hate him, people on both sides love to talk about Steph. That kind of stuff draws interest.

Exactly. Bunch of cry baby fringe professionals at best. I was watching some golden state/okc pre game shows and plenty of sportscasters were calling out okc talking about how they were choking and blew the series.

Listen to any sports radio show. No shortage of fans bashing pro players.

Letsrun is the best running forum that exists on the internet. Shelia Reid has a different peer group of elite runner to access that most on Letsrun do not. she's still young too, so her naivete will fade as she gets a little older and understand her silliness.there's a lot of garbage and hate and idiots on Letsrun, for sure butThere's a lot of experience, injury advice, and training information too.Sheila Reid likes to stir the sh*t and has some insecurities, but in general, she just has too much time on her hands. You can read it in her reposnes and the happiness she exudes when other affirm her messages. If you read her twitter and instagram, you can certainly tell by her posts that she appreciates some validation that comes with social media.she's a good runner. and attractive.the best thing to do if you don't like her, is to provide her with silence
