Article claims the charity spent £80k on a fundraising ball. Doesn't mention how much this ball made.
The article also says the Farah Foundation is giving £400k when it closes, to charity.

Did anyone else read this thread title and immediately picture Mo walking around with ill-gotten diamond studded prosthetic testicles dangling out of his running shorts?

LOL damn all the Mo Farah haters are flocking to this threat as tho their lives depend on it .. Only if Bad Wiggins , Elkenian and Ethio were here it would have been complete Mo Farah hater party #onemomile
Yeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzz!!
I seriously can't decide if I like you or Mo Farah less. I'm in too close of contact with you due to LetsRun. But OTOH, Mo Farah is ruining the sport I love, albeit from a distance. Not sure how to reconcile the two.
I thought of the ac/dc song, as did several other posters.

No. Just tony. They are also sugar frosted.

Giving to 'another' charity. Not giving money to the intended groups. What that means is 100% write off for Mo's charity, and added administration costs for the charity getting the money. Neat trick; doubling the cost of admin fees.

No ... tell US how your reading these posts is ruining your love for Mo ? you dumb fukc.
Good idea by tony!
Do you have their phone numbers so we could call them and get them on this thread to pile on?
Bad Wigins can be very feisty if he has not had enough caffeine yet today.
By the way doot doot…Is there any update Bekele on when we could expect to get an expectation update on what to expect from Bekele update?
Just wondering.

I mean, you've just made that up.

Hmmmm, you think the charity Farah gave the money to will pass along 100% of that money without taking a cut? And, do you think Farah's charity staff didn't have any expenses collecting, and managing, that money?

The new charity could be run completely by volunteers, you have no idea. Don't make things up. The money being handed over is what is left in the Fund's bank account, read the article.
I highly doubt that less than 80k of that 400k goes to charitable causes. Hence the thread title is misleading.

Because he currently wins the most races in the most boring possible manner under suspicious circumstances. Then mouth-breathing mongoloids such as yourself look up to him.
suspicious circumstances ? are you kidding me ? WOW just WOW
By the way nothing is wrong with sit n kick . #onemomile #moknows #gohardorgohome #doublegoldinrio ....yeeezzzzzzzzzzz

I know this. Managing 400k pounds costs money. Tax attorneys, CPAs, and distributing the money. You have no clue how businesses and charities work.

As long as you make more in your fundraising than the cost to fundraise, you made a difference.
I'm going to promote a 10K and act as if it's a fundraising event.
Event generates 150,000.
Costs $50,000 for all the "stuff" to actually do the event.
As promoter, I charge $50,000 for my expertise.
I charge $40,000 for an appearance fee, that I split with a celebrity.
$10000, 6% of the event actually clears to the charity. That's not even payroll. Meanwhile the runners, lots of them, think they are "making a difference."

You've made that up too. Why do people like making stuff up here?
To the other guy, charities don't get taxed on charitable donations? The fund is dissolving and can just give it's bank account contents to another charity. It's giving. It's free.
If they wanna pay some staff to help out or the bank charges for some reason those costs are minimal. Not 320k.

Spent most of his career as an "also ran."
Nothing wrong with "sit n kick" as one of several tactics... Mo's a one trick pony.
This isn't Twitter.
If you're spending that much on CPA'S and tax attorneys, you're getting ripped off. You must be the type of person that shops at Lululemon.
