Colorful character. He's still fairly young. Late 20's. With PR's of 1:44 and 3:30 you just have to hope he'll shock the world in the near future. Certainly has the ability. Rooting for him.

More speedwork? Oh God this summer isn't going to end well for OTC.

Hey, have you heard of LetsRun.com?

haha. I hope he improves, but this is good.
Drunk, partier, thirsty for likes and favorites on social media, and by no means an actual role model in any way. That what's to not like.
I love Andrew
I hope he is killing it in a month
cut him some slack for now guys
build up
don't tear down
+1
Cross training (elliptical/bike) is a total waste of time and shows addiction to exercise tendencies. Lift some weights and do plyos in addition to running if you want to get better, bro.

This ^^^
Every pro is like, "well I haven't even started speed work yet" and then later on in the season when they do speed (like they weren't doing it before because they always lie) they dont get any better
How do you know he parties a lot?

Everyone knows this.
Easy to love Wheating for his goofy personality, and his excitable reactions any time he has a good race.
Easy to resent Wheating for being so talented and successful despite his low mileage and suspect focus in the past.

Nice facts!
At least he isn't Centro. I'd kill myself if I was Centro. I couldn't live with being the slowest, weakest, dumbest person on the planet.

I don't know why you made this post. It's not remotely funny or clever, and it's completely out of place. Most of the Centro haters are at least a little funny.
Anyway, I'm not sure that Wheating could even make NCAA nationals right now. Not good. Hard to imagine him ever approaching national elite level again.

Trying to keep his fan base informed.
There is something wrong with that?

Quoting my rhetoric doesn't help your argument!
To answer your question it's not an assumption, we know where assuming gets people. I'm speaking based on past experiences seeing it firsthand and from having talk to former Otc runners.
Maybe it's true, but face it . . . you have no earthly idea.
Seriously, Semenya is about to drop a 1:48 in the next month or so.Also, watch for Wheating to be hurt in about 3 weeks.

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
