This is you being smarter than Reid? Harry Reid, Maybe. I'd hate to see you when you're OFF your game.

truth right there.
Serious question as the point has been raised, what's so powerful about this woman?

Would you rather have the tweet without a name or no tweet at all? Id' rather have the tweet.
Very sexist replies.
True. After Ms Reid's sexist remarks about the mile, the gloves are off.
I'd rather have a tweet qualified by "Rumors swirl of a coach protesting ..." Her smugness invites harsh criticism.
She was using humor and trying to bring more attention to the sport. Why does it affect anyone that she tweeted that? It was interesting and helped bring us fans into the perspective of an athlete and what they see/hear at meets! She's so awesome!
Serious question. wrote:

One tweet and you're all flying off the handle.
That's fairly impressive.

I don't even know anything about the woman. I'm just enjoying how emotional she makes you.
Don't you get worried that a single tweet from someone you don't even know leads to that level of obsessiveness?

Like you, we don't have lives.
Also like you, we keep on coming back because we're obsessed with it.
Anyway, it's better than the gorilla thread and more relevant to a running site.

Please excuse me for saying this Rojo, but you seem to be very selective about what disgusts you.
For the record, I am also very selective about what disgusts me. And please excuse me for saying this, but you should be also, no?
No more gorilla threads. wrote:

Your first two statements are true. But the gorilla threads are much better than this one. I'm now officially obsessed with gorillas. I hope Sheila will tweet something about the gorilla situation too. That would really make my day here at lrc.

I actually clicked that link. She says she's unattractive but didn't mention any of the criticism of her tweets. I guess that doesn't bother her. Her attractiveness is what she's most concerned about.
So did anything actually come out of all this, was there any substance to it, anyone been implicated/rumored about or was it all just hot air/misunderstanding, what? Seems like a big call and nothing happens if that's the case.

She's hotter than him so she can do whatever she wants...:).You must be several years into serving your sentence if you think Reid is hot. That said, people can't "say whatever they want" even if they do happen to be hot. That isn't how it works, except in your twisted little world.
She has a pretty fantastic body, IMO. Her face is normal, IMO.
I agree with you that her tweet was a bit obnoxious and petty.

This is weird!
You don't need to connect a lot of dots to figure out who the athlete/coach/agent is. E.g.;
o Was athlete/coach/agent male or female?.
o Was the athlete/coach/agent Black / White / Asian / Hispanic / European / African?
o Did the athlete/coach/agent speak English or any other language you recognize?
o Was the athlete/coach/agent involved in a sprint, MD, distance, hurdle, jump or throw event?
o What day and time of day did this occur?
These are the fairly obvious things, noticing the name and number on an athlete's bib or the coach/agent credentials is a slam dunk. It is not that difficult to figure out who someone is, especially if it really matters to you...just keeping it real.
