Now we see why Slag should have been in the Bowerman mile! Should have been sitting right on Hunter's 6. "He hadn"t done anything to indicate....! What!
He ran that sub 4 all alone at 1300 feet altitude on a rain soaked track with wind. How many HS sub 4 guys did it all alone at their HS meet? Wonder what Hunter would have run if he was in the national mile? Oh well they are both great. Maybe we can argue further when we see the videos in a year or two.
