Who is Coach D? wrote:
Coach d owns athletic.not. Instead of trolling the forums he should be striving to make his inferior website more accurate. Plus the fact, he should indemnify the Nike- USATF-Oregon trifecta as that is who paid him some money recently when RunnersPace "acquired" athletic.not.Is David Bowdoin "Coach D"? I thought Coach D was a black guy from the Los Angeles area.
Highly doubt David Bowdoin is Coach D so let's put a stop to misinformation.
Athletic.net is an outstanding resource for schools that use it. Not every state in the United States uses it, but I don't think this makes it inferior or not accurate. 99% of high schools and middle schools in my state use athletic.net and are very happy with the website.
So she drops off the team. How does she get back to Eugene? Is UO allowed to pay for her ticket?
Seriously, What happened? This is a member of last years USA World Championship team in TWO EVENTS, And a MEDAL WINNER in the relay! Who gave up prize money to rturn to school and compete. What's the story on this?
Dude, just let it go. It's not that important.

It's frustrating to consider the possibility who has the power to investigate will probably not share information that MIGHT make Oregon TF look bad. Seems to me like all the press in the area kiss up to the track team. Note that I'm not saying it will definitely be a scandal for UO, as maybe Todd made a poor decision. If she messed up then I respect her need for privacy. Otherwise, there might be a real issue there and nobody may have the guts to address it.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Your comments are ignorant and way off base not knowing anything about the situation or Oregon Track.

here you go sherlock:
https://mobile.twitter.com/MsGoogleme/status/737003071797133313Sant did give an explanation, unfortunately for her to have to end her career.
Todd (number 54 on the alltime 100m list!) however, is like a WR leading in rushes or a starting BB player to end his career right before play-offs start and no explanation is given by either the athlete or the Athletics Department, that's strange and adds to the speculation we're doing right now.
Someone posted a picture of Coach D he/she is a transgender.
U of O has seen this before.....Rebecca Noble situation......no explanation given except an "injury" that was so severe she couldn't come back from it....of course Grabill has a rock hit her in the face at 70mph and SHE is able to come back...hmmmm things are definitely being filtered at the u of O and especially on the track team!

I had forgotten Rebecca Noble. Haziness and puzzling stuff for sure.

Well, your answer regarding Noble is right here:
http://www.oregonlive.com/trackandfield/index.ssf/2010/06/rebekah_noble_oregons_fleeting.htmlAlso, sorry to have offended anybody here about the Todd situation. It's nosy to ask for an answer from UO, but as a track fan, I don't feel too bad asking for one. Her situation gets a short footnote in a Ken Go article:
"It was a less than stellar regional meet for the UO women. Star sprinter/jumper Jasmine Todd either quit the team or was booted during the regional."
http://www.oregonlive.com/trackandfield/index.ssf/2016/05/sunday_morning_news_notes_link_43.html#incart_river_indexIs it nosy to ask why a stud quarterback didn't play in a game? It is perfectly alright to want an answer as to why one of the team's best athletes disappeared. For some reason as soon as it is about track everyone gets all sensitive but as soon as football season rolls around it is perfectly alright to judge coaches or speculate on athletes. Stop being a puss.

Deer Ken Goe: Dude, isn't it your, or some other journalists JOB(!) to figure this out rather than gloss over it or sweep it under the rug?!?!
It is Goe's job but nowadays journalists are homers who don't want to rock the boat and risk losing access.
So, what's the story?
still nothing, huh?

Stop with this obsession, already.
Oregon has the best sprint coach college or pro in the Country look at how much faster Garnder,Prandini,Todd minus this year and Cunliffee got once at Oregon also Oregon just signed it's first ever elite Male sprinter can't remember his name but dude ran a 10.04 100 and 20.20 200 and with Oregon sprint coach dude could and probably will win NCAA next year. :) Not sure why Todd left early from Oregon but best of luck to her in the pro's once a Duck always a Duck GO DUCKS
