So this evening I got back from work around 5:15, changed quick and was out the door for my afternoon shakeout run. It was one of the first warmer days here in virginia, about 90 or so, and I was running shirtless. I'm a few miles in and I'm coming up on a cute blonde woman. She is running maybe 10 minutes per mile or so and I'm quickly approaching her. I check her out a bit from behind and say hello as I pass but get no response. She was wearing headphones so I just presumed she didn't hear me. A few seconds after making the pass, she shouts up to me in a friendly voice, "you didn't make the look back!" I twisted around and said back, "I said hello as I passed!" However, she either didn't hear more or was out of breath because she didn't reply. I was puzzled but a few seconds later I began to think that this was a flirty thing. So help me out letsrun, was this chick flirting with me? or was she saying I didn't look back and wave in "runner camaraderie"? If it helps at all, we were similarly aged, perhaps she was a year or two older and the area is solidly middle class, close to the capital region.
Thoughts?
A woman called me out on my run today, flirting or just joking?

I suspect you have a tennis elbow in your right arm now.

She is saying that you didnt check her out as you went by. I dont think she was flirting she was commenting on that most guys would check her out as they ran by

She wants the D!

Who cares?

Does it matter?
Perfect example why women should never respond to a man's friendly gesture lest he misconstrue it as flirting. -
She already obtained your seed. You will be cloned, replicated, and you will kill yourself four weeks ago.

I think in general this is well founded because some men do assume that a woman who smiles and waves hello "wants the D" but in this instance, she told me i didn't "give her the look back" so I'd say that she was flirting.
I'll be doing the same thing today so perhaps I will see her though I'm doubtful. Regardless, I'll provide updates. -
Must be a loser if home from work by 5:15.

Must be a loser if you have to work at all, brah. I run and live the trust fund life. Meanwhile you report to a cubicle.
Sucks to be you, brah. -
Was she wearing a thong?

I usually work ~ 8:30 to 5 and my commute is around 10 minutes. I work plenty hard just earlier hours and have a nice place close to work. I presume you work very late hours. I feel for you! spending time at home and getting the chance to run before 6 pm is a gift! -
I think it's kind of funny when women go out of their way to wave/smile/say "hi" to me when I'm out running.

Were you relaxed?

Wrong, bro.
She knew you were checking her out and called you on it.
Own it, bro. Compliment her and keep on running. -
I'll take things that didn't happen for $1,000, Alex.

You must be a loser if you have a job where someone else tells you your hours.
