The Webb n' Solinsky Commentary at Oxy: What a Treat!

I loved it, the whole production.

It was fun seeing so many turn out to see what they could do. And seeing so many double up was cool, too. I only wish a few of the times had been a bit quicker. I mean, watching Diamond League - Rabat this morning ...

I did think Solinsky can become a pretty good commentator if he sticks with it. Alan just comes off like a kid who just ate a lot of candy.

You know what, so what if AWebb has weak technical commentating skills; he probably has about zero practice in this, but you've got to start somewhere. Hopefully he'll stick with it, learn from each experience, invest some time into learning the trade, and continue to grow. I WANT him to succeed with this. We NEED guys like him to get involved in such a capacity if we want competitive American mid-d and distance running to grow it's audiences.

Webb has so much wisdom to impart. I loved his commentary, even if he's not comfortable in the mic yet. The American Mile FOAT should be heard.

In all fairness, would any casual fan spend their Friday night watching a track meet in CA? On a website that wasn't really advertised?

Props to the crew, Webb and Solinsky. I enjoyed it.

You misspelled "GOAT", and then below in your explanation you misspelled "Greatest".
