What was the original contract worth? And who negotiated it? It wasn't Hawi Keflhezgi, was it? Then why's he getting the blame.
What was NB's offer?
What was Nike's counter?
Long-term what is Nike hoping to gain from this (other than 'winning' the lawsuit and further establishing their reputation as bullies)?
If he'd stuck to the contract stipulations he could only compete unattached for those 6 months? Or would he be required to wear Nike gear?
Could they outright ban him from competing--like a record company would to a signed musician?
Finally, has anyone here actually met Nike'sJohn Capriotti; is he a DB snake in the grass or actually a nice guy, just misunderstood.
