Of course not. The problem lies in that is tactic likely cannot beat the Americans. Do you think Andrews could outkick Centrowitz like that?
So maybe there's one it won't work on.

Robby Andrew's strategy is good against average elite runners but when he runs against the best of the best it never works. He has to realize that he cannot win from way back against the Kiprops and Rudishas. It is not possible.
Yeah. He should sit right behind Kiprop and Rudisha and he'll beat them every time.
It's just that easy.

Way to pigeon hole a guy you've only ever seen videos of on the internet
Leave the race strategy and other career-related decisions to his coach and Robby himself
As if Andrews races this way 100% of the time anyways; pretty sure he went after it closer to the front a couple of times this indoor season
You realize these videos on the internet are the races in question? In nearly every race, he does the same thing. I'm not telling him to switch strategies, just saying that his current strategy will not win him an Olympic medal. Whether any strategy of his could win a medal is up for further debate.
Everyone agrees with you. No brainer.
it's all about the slingshot
Is it safe to say that Cas Loxsom is a good 600m runner?

All I'm saying is that he is not giving himself the best opportunity to win against the best runners in the world. I am not saying he has a decent chance at beating them. However, if his chance of winning doubles, even if he goes from 500-1 to 250-1, it still matters.

Rudisha's 600 splits in 800s are faster than Cas's AR..
They aren't girls Chris.. Please tell me they don't allow you to coach "girls" in college, Chris.

USA indoor championships it almost gave him the win, and so most a medal at world indoors. He's getting there. Just not quite there yet.
I cant get too caught up in whether people get the Oly standard or not. The top 32 (or so) will go to the Trials in the 800 because that's the target field size. And then the top three will have to run the standard to make the team.
Similar for 1500m, although more of a chance Trials race will be tactical. If someone can't make the Oly standard with every opportunity, no great loss to begin with.

Considering how 4 or 5 high school girls so far this year have run 4:16 or faster, it makes you wonder how all the women who have run slower than that tonight (a decent few so far) can justify having pro-contracts.
