Why does runner space and USATF suck so bad? The quality of coverage for the road mile championships was not good.

Looks like high school phenom Tabor Scholl quit CU to go the pro route. What a shame to give up Wetmore's program to race for $250.

Shut up. This doesn't indicate whether she quit and went pro or not. And if she did, she can make her own decisions, she's an adult. If it was a mistake, so be it, doesn't hurt you any.

Damn, can't believe that Blankenship put 4 seconds on Heath in a single mile. Dude must be in good shape.

New course this year. First half of the course is gradually uphill, then the second half is gradually downhill.

You don't know the half of it. Instead of doing awards immediately following the pro race--like any reasonable organization would--when there were hundreds of fans lining the finish route, USATF waited until 9pm to do the awards in front of a few cheap banners in the fading light. There were about two dozen people watching the awards ceremony. Pretty sure most of them were just race staff and family members. The ceremony was about as exciting as the award ceremony at your local turkey trot with 50 finishers. WHY???

Props to Blankenship though. Big payday for him, and a really nice run. He put 4sec on the field in the last 1200m; it was tightly packed until at least then.

Blankenship broke away at a little over a quarter into the race. By the 3/4 mark he had the entire 4 second lead and maintained it into the finish.

Then how do you explain CU taking her completely off the roster mid track season? Good for her for making such a reasonable decision... Also, you must be her Mom to take such and offense to this. Get over it, people talk.

Here you go. Don't think this has been put up yet, but yes she left school and is going pro.
