If you run for a college team, then you need to be discussing this with your coach, not a bunch of anonymous people here. If you are not on a college team, then sure, why not? I know several good runners who either did not attend college at all, or attended college but did not run for their school team, and qualified for the Olympic Trials when they were in college or "college-aged." I also know of a few who ran qualifying times while on their school's teams. Sage Canaday ran an OT while running for Cornell. I'm pretty sure Dan Feldman qualified while running for MIT.
