I consider myself to be a liberal when it comes to gender issues. But I just watched the video of the 'women's' 800m, and it's hard to watch and not see a man, like an NFL wide receiver, striding away like child's play. not a fair competition.
liberals have to see endure the consequences of being liberal !

In the words of Austin Powers: "That's not a woman, that's a MAN, baby!"

Maybe semenya will be good for the sport in some way..as a curiosity and someone guraranteed to win. People like favorites who win all the time. And her story is easy to understand.
How come transsexuals can use women's bathrooms but CANNOT compete in women's T&F? Am not saying Semenya is a transsexual.....but she is closer than you & me.
My post is reflecting on the idiocy of men using women's bathrooms.....per US federal civil rights.
Wow -Jamaica appears to have better men hurdlers than the US now...

I don't care where they take a dump or who they marry. I care about whose medals they steal.

One difference is that when you are going to the bathroom, it's not a competitive situation--at least not for most of us.

What do you think of Cram's coments:
Steve Cram "Well it's always difficult to assess how people are feeling in a race, but that looked to me like somebody who just did enough to win and had a lot more in the tank. Watch out for much quicker maces, much quicker times from Caster Semenya. It's a world leading 1:58.26 but she mad that look SO easy."
She might have just been not wanting to crush it but ti also seems as if she loves to negative split races. That's what she was doing in South Africa as well.
Does anyone remember what she went out in when she won Worlds?
His commentary is great. Stop looking for holes in it because you don't like the guy. He's knowledgeable on the sport, gets excited and calls races very clearly.
I was sitting near some random dude (who knew nothing about T&F) at the bar watching the finish of the W800, and when he saw Castor emerge from the pack, he said "what's a guy doing in the women's race?". Her physique is in such contrast to everyone else in there, it's clear that she is physically a man.

Lost respect for Cram last year when he focused all of his attention on Gatlin as if he is the only elite sprinter with a doping past.

what on earth bar anywhere shows the Doha 800??? I agree with your point, but my bar has NBA and MLB on.
Please tell me how semenya is any different from a female that has taken/is taking super high amounts of test?

Just requested them to show it on one of the screens; no big deal, since there weren't many people there anyhow.

Nice.
Probs cycling off testosterone, that's why.
