Harsh...
Could a 100% caster semenya (unhindered by gender therapy and public opinion), if she trained for it, beat genzebe dibaba at 1500m? It seemed really likely that at the time she bowed to public pressure and gender therapy that she could have gone really really low (fast) (800m)

Actually, I think Dibaba could still beat her at 800. Didn't Dibaba close her 1500m championship race last year in 1:57 for 800? Or am I wrong about that.
No way Semenya has the endurance for a 3:50 1500 anyway
Not sure but would love to see Semenya y Dibaba in the 1500m Olympic final.

who won?
It's good to see Dix running decently again (even if not at previous levels)
I didn't say anything on the 110m hurdles which feature the return of Aries Merritt after getting a kidney transplant after Worlds last August.
Merritt's still got 2 months to the Trials to make the US team.
McLeod looked great and hit the 2nd to last hurdle hard but still won.
Jamaica going 1-2 in the hurdles. Still a shock to me.
Final, wind: +1.4

Winning 3k time?
Disappointingly slow. Ventolin^3 promised 3:26.

Drug cheat Schippers goes home DEVASTATED!
This posts disgust me. I don't think she's a cheat. Admittedly, I don't follow the sprints like I do in the distances but there is nothing suspicious about her in my mind.
Just because she's white and big, you think she's a cheat? Please provide some rationale behind your post.
If I was being snarky, I'd summarize your past as "This is something I don't know about, but that won't stop me from having strong, emotional reactions!"
Rojo, I encourage you to look at this thread

There is a lot to discuss there...
For my role in the discussion, I never talk about appearance. But take a look, and reply in those threads so as not to clog this discussion

She has a tattoo? What does CAS stand for? Court of Arbitration for Sport or something?
I'm actually, viscerally disgusted by Semenya. She's so brave. 😒

What do you think of Cram's coments:
Steve Cram "Well it's always difficult to assess how people are feeling in a race, but that looked to me like somebody who just did enough to win and had a lot more in the tank. Watch out for much quicker maces, much quicker times from Caster Semenya. It's a world leading 1:58.26 but she mad that look SO easy."
Weird contrast with his commentary on the men's 1500m. Kiprop looked ridiculously easy too.
We've reached the point where Kiprop looks just as dominant as El Guerrouj in his prime.
i'm viscerally disgusted by your post

Cool. Keep up the good fight for men dominating women's track.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
