He ran the last lap relaxed like Kiprop
Another guy from Djibouti with a 3:34. That's four good current 1500 runners from a tiny country of 800k people. (Ayanleh Souleiman, Abdi Waiss Mouhyanin, Mohamed Ismail Ibrahim, Youssouf Hiss Bachir)

Steeple went out hard 239.4 and 5200. Well at least a few guys went hard like Kipruto, Birech andJohn Koech. But with 2 laps to go, Kipruto was clear. He didn't have anything at the end and faded to 8:05.
Kemboi ran 831!!!

Isn't the brand "Jumpman"?
Anyone notice the "CAS" tattoo on Semenya's shoulder? Ha, I wonder if she got that right after the ruling.

Guys, with a Canadian IP you can watch great coverage on CBC sports.
They will be doing this for the whole DL! Track coverage much improved in an Olympic year, and CBC holding the Canadian rights.
w 800 on the line.
scheduled for 57.5 thru 400.
sum in a good spot, semenya in 4th 200 in 28.5
price in the top pack. semenya looks huge. Ludlow, semenya, etc in top pack. 58.88 thru 400.
semenya looks comically relaxed. closes the gap in the last 150, and completely blows the doors off of alemu in the last 50 for a 1:58.7 WL
How Caster Semenya runs:

Drug cheat Schippers goes home DEVASTATED!
This posts disgust me. I don't think she's a cheat. Admittedly, I don't follow the sprints like I do in the distances but there is nothing suspicious about her in my mind.
Just because she's white and big, you think she's a cheat? Please provide some rationale behind your post.
Just because she's white, you think she's not?
Sorry but Semenya has the same physique as Gatilin. Was she actually proved to be female? Im mean its not hard to find out...
Maybe semenya will be good for the sport in some way..as a curiosity and someone guraranteed to win. People like favorites who win all the time. And her story is easy to understand.

This post shows how important it is that morons like you are not the ones making these decisions.
What do you think of Cram's coments:
Steve Cram "Well it's always difficult to assess how people are feeling in a race, but that looked to me like somebody who just did enough to win and had a lot more in the tank. Watch out for much quicker maces, much quicker times from Caster Semenya. It's a world leading 1:58.26 but she mad that look SO easy."
She might have just been not wanting to crush it but ti also seems as if she loves to negative split races. That's what she was doing in South Africa as well.
Does anyone remember what she went out in when she won Worlds?
Yes, it's almost comical how easily she can Sprint away from the field. Obviously she has some type of big advantage
Wow!
Semenya toyed with the field.
Probably 8th at the bell in lane 2, waited until the final 60m to take the lead and crushed everyone .
As someone typed in the LRC chat box we have for the meet.
"just give semenya the gold
she was just d****** around and ran 1:58.26"
She's run 50.7 for 400m this year. I'm not surprised she crushed everyone. If she is not on testosterone suppressors she's at a different level than most women in the field.
Poor Steve Cram had to bite his tongue the entire race. Seeing her race women turns my stomach. It's just not fair!
Men's 200 recap:
Amar Webb came into Doha in great form, having already run 19.91 and 9.90w this year, and left it in even better form as he got the win in a world-leading 19.85. Webb, the 2013 NCAA indoor and outdoor 200 champ for Texas A&M, set a new meet record and personal best in the process.
Webb is really thriving now that he’s training under Dan Pfaff as part of the Altis Group in Arizona as his pb coming in the year was 20.02.
There was a close three-way battle for second between 2015 Diamond league winner Alonso Edward of Jamaica (20.06), Femi Ogunode of Qatar (20.10), and Walter Dix (20.14). Dix was competitive in his return to the Diamond League circuit for the first time since 2013, as 20.14 is his fastest time since 2013. Dix’s pb is 19.53.
Final, wind: +1.9

Women’s Pole Vault: Sandi Morris Gets DL Win #1
World Indoor silver medallist Sandi Morris picked up her first Diamond League win in style, tying Yarisley Silva’s Diamond League record of 4.83, a two-centimeter outdoor PR for Morris (her indoor best is 4.95). It was a great night for vaulting -- warm temps without much wind -- and the field took advantage as Nicole Buchler (Swiss national record of 4.78) and World Indoor bronze medallist Katerina Stefanidi of Greece (4.73) also PR’d in second and third.
I wouldn't say Semenya is a guaranteed gold. There's also the indoor champ Niyonsaba, who ran 1:56 a couple of years ago and then disappeared until after the CAS ruling.
Wambui could be in the Rio field too.
It's up to the 800m women to take some kind of stand and make a public protest of the mockery being made of their event.
Yeah, I feel bad for the women that have to race her.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
