Back in the 1960s I saw this beautiful piece of calligraphy on the wall of the worst smelling and looking 'old men go to die' bar on the Bowery in Manhattan NY.
Since then I've posted a larger than required nicely framed calligraphic Wash Hands sign in all the bars and restaurants I've been involved in.(notable exception Windows On The World 1 WTC) because of the impression that old sign had on me with the hopes that it would inspire compliance.
Does the generic required by law sign inspire confidence-
