Thanks for sharing. So what else do you consider "good for you?"
+1 for calling out the loser.

Bell's Two Hearted Ale's gotta be the most delicious thing on the whole damn planet.
Is it the calories and the fact that marijuana is loaded with carbs and can give you weed belly? It's probably the bad decisions you make right? Idiot. Marijuana isn't bad for you. I've never been arrested. And my running times are pretty solid.
Weed can be bad for you, if you don't use it responsibly. Beer can be bad for you, if you don't use it responsibly. One is not better than the other. It is great that you found your drug of choice, but making erroneous, blanket statements about beer makes you a tool. Especially when the thread is about beer. Don't drink it: fine. Just don't interject with that sanctimonious garbage about marijuana being "better".
A drug is a drug. It is the user who makes it a good or a bad indulgence.
I respect that answer, and you.
Anyone that says anything other than "Founders All Day IPA" has never had it.
Also a local that has really jumped to the top of my list is Heavy Seas Tropi Cannon IPA

So you have never had Founders All Day IPA? Because you just said something else...
Flying Dog The Truth is my current favorite
Allagash Black with a dozen oysters
As I've said before...
If you're on the cheap: PBR, Miller High Life.
If you have a few extra bucks: Fat Tire, or any other New Belgium product.
There you go!
Lagunitas hop stoopid IPA, Bell's two-hearted ale, Lagunitas equinox pale ale, Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout, Backmasking oatmeal stout (love the black metal bottle design)
Seasonally I enjoy Lagunitas brown shugga substitute in the winter, and Leinenkeugels ginger shanty in the summer
Yes, another Lagunitas fanboy!
Also had to add there's nothing wrong with a proper Guinness, or three.

The All Day is fine, but if I'm going to drink an IPA, I prefer it to have an alcohol content of higher than 4.7%... Just me.
Anything from Brewery Ommegang / Cooperstown, New York
Anything from Sierra Nevad, such as Hop Hunter. Lagunitas Great. Sculpin IPA. Funky Bhudah Hoppinator IPA and the local favorite is Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. If you get the rare special White Oak Jai Alai IPA, you are a blessed soul and will cry and write a poem.....
"Go to" Beer = New Glarus Moon Man
Seasonal = Bell's Hopslam or Upland Oktoberfest
That said, I don't live in Wisconsin and can't get Moon Man on a regular basis (even though it is part of the New Glarus year-round lineup). Therefore, the two easily accessible and affordable kinds of beer that can always be found in my fridge are Guinness Pub Draught and almost anything from Leinenkugel's.

All Day IPA is my current favorite. But my favorite seems to change but I think this one will stay at top for at least this summer.
We have a local craft brewery and they make an awesome IPA.

It really is a great post-run beer, you can tell this brewer is a real runner. Very refreshing pilsener, not too hoppy like some of his other lagers but lots of flavor unlike all those American mass-market sissy beers being mentioned on this thread.
For beers in general, my go-to brewers are Prairie, Evil Twin, Almanac, and anything in the Grassroots Brewing series. Obviously I'd drink Cantillon all the time if I could find it.
