If you listen to the GingerRunner interview, it's obvious Ryan is just mentally burned out and done with running. He talked of how he missed putting on muscle at puberty because he was running so much and how his father drove him 75 minutes each way to track workouts.
He sounds like a guy who feels like he missed out on the rest of life because of his devotion to running and now he wants to be a normal weight and raise his kids and...
Maybe he can get his competitive appetite filled and make a living by coaching. I suspect at some point he'll realize that working a regular job and not being a professional athlete isn't that great either and he'll take another shot at running, even if just to be a really good masters runner.
But I could be wrong. He really might be done forever.

Wow! If you're persistent enough, everyone will forget you were a troll to begin with. Be careful though, go too deep and you'll become the troll you pretend to be.
Maybe one day XFIT BRO will f up and start doing crossfit and lose his troll status

Alan, go ahead and enlighten us on Conor McGregor's physical stats
(hint: listed 5'9", 170lb; fights at 145, then 155)
McGregor, who last competed at lightweight in December 2012, talked about the benefits of bumping up [from 145] to 155.

I did not listen to the interview, thanks for explaining. I had low-T/anemia after overtraining for a couple of years, i could not add muscle no matter how much i lifted, in fact i lost a lot of strength. 6 months i did nothing, other than eating a lot of fat, and 1 lb of liver every week for 2 months. Eventually i started weights again, got my 3X8 bench press up 30lbs and a few months after that got itchy to run again, eventually setting a couple of marathon PBs. Nowhere near Hall's level of course, and i had a youth filled with team sports so i don't feel a lost my life to running...but.... it sure feels good when you can start hammering on the track/roads again!

Almost serves as proof. He quit distance running because he is probably taking testosterone supplementation due to his "low t." He stops running, starts lifting and voila, bigger muscles.Same thing happened to a friend who started supplementation in high school due to lack of growth after puberty. Within months he was ripped and barely worked out.

No one would consider Conor McGregor "jacked" either. He's a wiry little guy. Great shape for what he does, not knocking it, but you wouldn't call him "muscular" or "jacked".
Hey, I just noticed the trucker hat is Asics. Is that a rare hat or what? I've never seen an Asics trucker hat!

You are confusing "shredded" with "jacked".
Also using weigh-in photos are misleading...

Alan, you are right, most people think of "jacked" as really big muscles. McGregor is certainly ripped/shredded, but also has some great muscle development (not huge, but his frame it's good).
But actually what you posted was misleading: the weigh-in photo was at 145 for a previous fight. You posted him when he fought at 170 (that was NOT after the weigh-in photo posted, c'mon). He put on too much weight too soon (25 lbs in a few months) and that's probably why he lost.
The weigh-in photo was NOT "misleading". That's what he looked like!
What's interesting though is: clowns like X-Fit bro saying that to be a "real man" and have women liked your body, you gotta get over 200lbs. Again, look at McGregor at 145. I'm pretty sure quite a few women find that attractive. I think most people think he looks more impressive from a physique stand-point like that than he in 170lb picture where he is a lot beefier. And as far as being a "real man", I'll let you or Cult_Fit_Clown tell McG he ain't one!
And here's the kicker.....plenty of runners, with a little more upper-body work, and a little more protein, could start looking somewhat like the ripped MMA guys in the 145/155 weight classes (not quite as ripped maybe, but in that direction).

First, McGregor like all UFC fighters is 100% taking test, gh and other PEDs. In his weigh in photo he had probably taken lasix and dehydrated himself, which also contributes to his definition and unnaturally low bf%. As for runners getting that kind of definition from sporadic lifting, all I can say is good luck. Either you have to have world class genetics, or you have to start taking gear. It's just not possible to look like that while putting in miles, the running cannibalizes muscle gains. Trust me I've tried to do both, and the only way to look like that is to stop running, go on a long bulk to build muscle, and then cut down.
Oh and good for Ryan Hall, he's made a lot of progress from where he started, but he's still DYEL status and needs to go on a real bulk before even thinking about cutting.

- Garage looks like a crazy old person's.
- Torso looks like average gym bro.
- Deleting previous Twitter photos looks weak.
There is no probably about Lasix. Anyone who has to cut for a weigh in takes Lasix or some other diuretic. Bodybuilding, boxing, MMA.
