They couldn't find a competent translator?

Men's race is over. Just before 40k Hayle goes for brok on the hill. Desisa doesn't even try to respond. He grabs water and looks over his shoulder.
Announcer said bronze medal..lol!

The women's race is why no one respects runners. It's easy to look at them and think you could do that. They look like they are jogging in the park
Idiot.
East Africans are no dummies, they're happy to win the most amount of money on the least effort so that they can run many marathons per year.
Slow start? Sandbagging? Yes and yes, but why not, they still win the money and reduce their chance of injury.
Hey! Where can I get one of these training masks being advertised on NBCSN!
Meanwhile, we're missing the final break in the men's race
announcers don't even notice, but thank goodness for split screen. looks like desisa may be dropping past 2nd soon.
LEMI HAYLE PULLED AWAY
During the interview they said she was 37 seconds back at mile 22
This interview with Baysa is terrible. Couldn't they have provided a translator who actually speaks english well?
We had to suffer through this terrible interview while the men's race actually had a move.
So congratulations. Both races missed covering the men's break . The international feed showed it live but they were in an interview. The NBC people missed it until replay.
Why are times so slow compared to previous years? Heat or successfully
fighting EPO use???

I also feel like Desisa is a lock for the ethiopian team
he's fine, if they don't pick him than the ethio athletics is dumb

Is both an option??
It's a) hottish and b) there is a headwind.
Ethiopia completes a double. Fair to say we've seen four of their marathon team for Rio.
A combo is possible. I didn't know about the wind. Could be a big factor.
The oldest members of organizations always get to handle the most sensitive areas in road racing and track. That dude was way to old to be helping anyone. In college, I was running the 400, and some ancient official leaned over the track. I almost took his head off.
