Not attacked, but on my shakeout run this morning with my buddy, we saw a fox up ahead crossing the road. It stopped briefly to check us out, then went into a yard and sat down. It kept its eye on us the whole time we passed. We we're worried it might be rabid and chase us. Fortunately, it was just curious.
A barred owl. These are very large birds. I was alone on a local trail in the woods when it came down on my head. I ducked and ran as hard as I could while semi stooped over and protecting my head with my right arm (it swung over to the right side of me after coming down on the top of my head, so I saw it out of my peripheral vision). Two other women I know were attacked by this bird within a span of a few weeks (was it attracted to our ponytails?). Scariest thing that has ever happened to me on a run. Only got me a little with its talons.
Red-Winged Blackbirds, anytime you get remotely close to their nesting sites.
People threw rocks at me once
Another aerial attack by an owl. Great Horned Owl, just after dark on trails. Thought a large branch fell on my head at first. Then about 200 meters later it happened again and I felt the "branch" gripping my head, with a few scrapes. Saw the owl fly away. I was a few miles away from the car at that point and wanted to finish the run so I kept going, and kept a handful of pebbles that I threw into the air unpredictably for the rest of the way.
I called the park ranger and they said those owls can crush your head like a melon if they want to.
I was chased by Nate's rooster in the 1970s.
It was surprisingly fast. And, unlike a dog, could not be intimidated.
I cranked it down to sub 5:00 minute pace but it kept reeling me in.
Had to kick it in the chest to make my escape

yes. A vicious DJ from a competing radio station attacked me when I was driving a recent race. He assaulted me verbally on the air. He was an animal.
WOW, that's so intense! Did it sound something like this? ***This might be one of the WEIRDEST animal sounds ever!!!***

I got charged by a big ass bear while scavenging for food in the wilderness. I killed him with my battle axe.
Sandhill crane attacked me. They are tall, 4-5', very large bird with giant beak. Outran it.
My high school team would always in Cowiche Canyon and during the summer there were often rattle snakes and one time I watched my friend hurdle one as it lunged at him.

I've been attacked by geese. When they are nesting, they are super aggressive.
There is a bird on the trail I run, and it buzzes you in the fall.
I've also been bitten by dogs more than once.
chased by one particular ruffed grouse on several occasions
My girlfriend attacked me after a run. It was so an-nee-maaaaal.

There was a red-winged blackbird near my work that hated me.
It attacked me a couple times before I learned to avoid that part of the trail.
One day over lunch I decided to go observe its area so I could laugh as it attacked other people. It didn't do a thing.
Next day, I went walking through it's area, sure enough it attacked me. Ran about a hundred yards down the trail before it stopped chasing me. I stopped and watched a little longer, 5 people walked right past it and it never left it's perch.
Geese and the dreaded red-winged black bird.
I had a dog run out of a yard near rollinsville. it chased after me and right as it lunged to bite my butt/upper leg, i smacked it in the snout. it scampered off after that
