Hello world!
Hello world!
For the record I did not put this thread on the homepage. Clearly someone is getting a kick out of me going to hot yoga.
I googled "married men women appropriate yoga" and found this:
http://www.splitsville.com/talk/do-women-go-to-yoga-classes-i-meet-men-i-wouldnt-go-to-a/
The article is actually on whether women go to yoga to meet men. I can't think of a worse place for women to meet men considering the ratios.
It has:
"Women go to yoga class to get keep and attract men, maybe just not at the actual location. However, any man in site will be a target if he's generally attractive with a good personality. Put a ring on your finger and watch the attention go up!"
We could have a whole different thread on putting "a ring on your finger and watch the attention go up". There is truth to it and why some married men who aren't going to cheat may not like yoga. If I'm single and there is some tension with some of the women in the room, it is what it is. If I was married, have a ring on, and women then direct more attention on me because I'm wearing a ring, then I can see why some guys are like "I don't need to deal with this" even if they have no intention of cheating.
There is the possibility the attention with the ring on doesn't increase and that married men are just more aware of it because they aren't supposed to go there. If I'm single and a woman expresses a little interest in me, I may not care if its not mutual. If I'm married maybe I'm aware of it.
I'm fairly certain few women in a yoga class would be looking for guys at said yoga class. Despite your ability to ogle scantily clad ladies, doing yoga is not exactly a strong statement about your masculinity. Not saying that's right, but it's the world we live in.
With all due respect, WTH are you trying to say here? Your writing is completely disjointed and confusing. You may want to consider hiring that ghost writer guy on the other thread to edit your posts.

^^Lots of truth to this.

Mercury...and spicy food. Try to keep up, malmo.
I have a liver, so I'll skip the #hotyoga #juicecleanse #shakeology #douchebaggery

I suppose if I started shopping at Whole Foods I'd be paranoid like you and subscribe to every quackery-smackdoodle myth too. Since I've never ever seen a healthy person walk out of a health foods store, no thanks, I'm going to avoid that place.
Since I don't have mercury poisoning, don't know anyone who has ever had mercury poisoning, and know that my liver and kidneys are functioning perfectly, I'll ignore your superstitious paranoia.
Here, YOU try to keep up misinformed hippy boy.

My goodness your brain is corroded though. I have no idea what 'Whole Foods" is nor am I a "hippie boy", whatever that is.
You sweat out mercury so that you can keep eating toxic fish and NOT get mercury poisoning. An ounce of prevention and all that.
I like that type of food.
My kidneys are NOT functioning perfectly so who the f cares about yours in this scenario?

Aren't you getting married to nikeman?
Love this line from malmo's link:
Rather, the liver turns potentially harmful chemicals into water-soluble chemicals that can be sweated or excreted from the body.

Did regular yoga 2-3 days a week for about 3 years. Some of my best running during this time. Much improved flexibility and not a single injury. Stopped yoga and within 6 months everything went to s@#* and injuries galore. Now I suck.
Usually the only guy in the class of about 15-20. A nice mix of women(evening class) - skinny, fat, 20's-40's, beautiful, ugly, friendly, rude, funny, annoying, etc. My kids elementary teacher (late 40's, outgoing, so/so) was the instructor.
I soon realized that the fit, good looking, married women liked to plant themselves in front of me. At times it was hard to keep from staring at the nice butt a couple of feet from your eyes. Younger chicks would be on the back edges - unfortunately!
A couple time a month we did "partner" yoga for about a 1/3 of the class. Can't tell you how many GBR's (gratuitous breast rubs) I received.
My wife would actually go during the day and would complain about all the "old" ladies that where in her class. She said someone was always passing gas.
The worst part was the class had floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides that bordered the hall to the basketball courts. My old Bball buddies would just shake their heads at me as they walked by.
When did you get divorced wejo? It felt like it was only a few years ago that you got married in the first place.

A resounding YES!
Sweating is a long-standing, if recently forgotten, aspect of mercury detoxification. Various strategies used to maintain the mercury mining workforce have been explored over the centuries. In Spain and colonies, long the western world’s primary sources of mercury, sending ill workers to warmer climes away from the exposure to drink weak beer (the hydrogen peroxide catalase oxidation of elemental mercury to ionic mercury is competitively inhibited by alcohol, increasing mercury in exhaled breath [44]) and to work in the heat (presumably to sweat out the “vaporsâ€) was a common and effective strategy centuries ago; tremors, salivation, and mouth ulcers resolved generally within a few weeks
Perhaps that interested gal next to you is Caitlyn....
Therefore, sweat is not made up of toxins from your body, and the belief that sweat can cleanse the body is a myth. “You cannot sweat toxins out of the body,†Dr. Smith says. “Toxins such as mercury, alcohol and most drugs are eliminated by your liver, intestines or kidneys.â€

It contains, it's not made up exclusively of. Maybe read more than one article?

You're not far off.
I got divorced at the end of 2014. Got married at the end of 2009.
2009 doesn't even seem that long ago to me. Shows I'm not a spring chicken anymore.
Saw I sign for this today on my way to yoga:
http://www.corepoweryoga.com/I may try that next.
From my limited time in yoga, I realize my hamstrings are super tight and I have no butt/glutes. I already feel stronger and more flexible with a better core.

Beryl Bender Birch was promoting yoga to runners 30 years ago. Her late husband Thom Birch was a very good runner. Look up her book "Power Yoga".
How did you manage to handle the stench of the hot yoga room?
