What do you think of this? Sign of doping, or his first race on a eligible course?

Hard to say. He hasn't run many international races so could be legit. Then again, many Ethiopians run much faster in Dubia than anywhere else, ever.
Those enroute PBs were just quicker than his enroute times from one race in Frankfurt last year, so not remarkable at all really. He hasn't raced any 20ks or half marathons it seems, all his listed PBs were enroute.
The money available for placings at this marathon almost guarantees doping. Sorry but that is just the way of the world. Let's also consider the difference a quarter of a million dollars can make to a Ethiopian. I would say there is a 95% chance the top 10 were dopers.
What is the best "all time" half marathon split in a marathon (for someone who finished sub 2:10)?
1:01.37 must be right up there. I don't think that sub 61 minutes has ever been achieved.

It's better than Kimetto's split of 61min45s in his world record performance (his second half was faster)...
Strange that someone that I have never heard of can split 61:37
Steve Jones ran almost that fast in the first half of the 1985 Chicago Marathon.

Not strange.
Just shows your ignorance.
Pretty sure that you could not have picked him out from a police lineup on Dec 2015.
He's 25? Looks can be deceiving
Knew his name, actually. 1:02 guy first time out so worth watching.
As for the OP, this is basically his third time racing longer than 21.1k so it's not shocking he beats his 30k PR en route, is it?
There is lots to be suspicious of out there. This thread is pure idiocy.

A few things to consider:
1) Dubai is a notoriously fast marathon course. Every year, the top times are all 2:04 - 2:05 range.
2) I don't think anyone ever races 20K, 25K, or 30K, least of all professional Ethiopian marathoners. The events are just too rare, and don't provide nearly as large of a payout compared to Marathons or Half-Marathons.
3) Because of point 2 above, 20K records will likely only ever be set enroute to Half-Marathons or Marathons, and 25K and 30K records will likely only ever be set enroute to a Marathon.
Since Lemma had never actually raced a 20K, 25K or 30K at all (based on his profile), it's really just that he set a Half-Marathon and Marathon PB in the same race. Given those two, the other 3 PBs would come naturally (it would be incredibly rare for someone not to set their own 20K PB while running a Half-Marathon PB).
What a genius!
OP and other ignorance above, take notes on the words from us with triple-digit IQs.

I think Kimetto ran 61:45/61:12 when he ran 2:02:57.

Great contribution. The athlete ran enroute PBs because he is doping. Great discussion as always from Letsrun.
I can't believe his is even a thread, if you just look at the guys profile you can see he simply ran a faster marathon than last year. It's one PB, not 5. The split times were just faster than the split times from the marathon last year. End of conspiracy.
In 1977, at the age of 16, I ran a 25k race PB. Along the way I hit PR's for 5k, 8k, 10k, 20k, 1/2 marathon. Also 4 mile, 5 mile, 6 mile and 10 mile PB's as well (all hand timed).
Too bad I did not run a marathon. I could have had a clean sweep.
How many of those other races had Lemma run before?
