How much? What brands are good? My current wallet is falling apart at the stitches.

I've had the same camouflage cables wallet that I got 9 years ago for my 11th birthday. Its no leather.
Is it velcro? I was hoping for a leather one.
I just have some cheap Fossil wallet, and the thing has lasted at least 5 years at this point.
Saddleback. All of their products are guaranteed to last a lifetime or two. "They'll fight over it when you're dead."
I still have my pleather "Kiss" biker wallet with the big chrome chain on it from when I was young. I've never really had and money so it didn't get much use.
Coach makes good wallets. Leather. Over $100. last at least ten years.
You can get a Trayvax wallet made of metal that blocks all RFID readers for about 30 bucks.
Admittedly they look a little silly in a jacket and tie business setting.
I just retired my Fossil wallet for a new one. I think most wallets fail because they're overstuffed.
$2 on eBay.
Have had my cheap JC Penny leather wallet for 10+ years at this point. I bought one on sale at Fossil thinking the current one would fall apart, but it hasn't.
This is the best wallet I have ever had.
I use one of my wife's hair ties. Work great, last a long time, super low cost, and very thin.
$1k+
Don't be cheap

Where's that "Fendi belt" troll with his "Gotta get a Fendi wallet for $550"?!
As for me...I got a reversible wallet at TJ Maxx for $16.99. Depending on the function, I can either use the black side or the brown side. It's really like getting 2 wallets for the price of 1. I'd call that a win.
I bought a wallet my freshman year of HS from fossil. It cost me 20 dollars and is still good as new 15 years later. Brown genuine leather nothing fancy
What kind of wallet? A front-pocket wallet is unlikely to wear out nearly as quickly as a back pocket wallet. I switched to a front pocket wallet in college and have never looked back. All I carry at most times is a couple of twenties, my work badge, a metro card, an Amex, Mastercard, ATM card, and a couple of business cards. The business cards go in their own slot, but everything else is just stacked--no need for an individual leather pocket for each card, which would only make the thing bulkier. Also the folding design of a typical billfold means they're twice as thick as they need to be to hold things.
I used a Coach card case like this for a lot of years:
It was hard to get the cards in and out at first, but the leather loosened up after a month or so.
Then when I needed to carry business cards and my thick work badge, I switched to this Comme des Garçons zip wallet:
Nice troll post.
I paid about $4 on clearance at Kohl's for something very similar.
