A teacher friend of mine came across a cultural mispronunciation. It is She-themed, but spelt Shithead. She was warned about it ahead of the first day of class.
And if you doubt these, then think again. After 62 years, you come across some strange ones. They tend to stick in your memories.

There were two brothers from around here named Lemonjello and Orangejello (pronounced O-ron-ja-low and Lem-on-ja-low). Not kidding.

Sports Illustrated once had a piece about a high school football team, or in 'faces in the crowd,' or some capacity in which one of the key players was Skyler Rocket. He went by Sky. The story even talked about his parents and why he was named Skyler.
No innuendo here, but strange none the less.
I made recruiting calls to a sprinter once whose name was La'shonvondalequa (I can't remember if that was the exact spelling or not - but that's pretty close). If I remember correctly she went by "Shon".
My wife told me she overheard a conversation between a mother and a nurse over some confusion of the name of the woman's daughter: La-a. The mother was infuriated that the nurse couldn't figure out how to say it "properly". It was supposed to be pronounced: La(dash)a. YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO PRONOUNCE THE DASH! Poor kid never had a chance.
Daughter of the guy who owns Belle Tire is named Michelle Lynn. Yes - Michelin.

After John Kennedy was assassinated and was resting in state in the capital before burial a pregnant mother in Albany, GA was so moved she named her daughter born then "Capital Rotunda". I never followed up on her but always wondered if she became obese.

I knew this BS would pop up in this thread. Every thread about weird name, someone claims this...... and you were at Woodstock, too, right.
I heard about this from several people around here. Looks like I bought into the urban legend as well.

We had two girls at our old school, Erica Willy and Teresa Green. Could never understand why their parents would do that to them.
Back in my youth track days I ran on a team with three brothers named Shaka, Menachem, and Ramses Dukes after the respective historical leaders. They had an older sister named Egypt.
I also had a friend who rented out an his guest house to a man who moved to the US from Korea named Phuk Yu Ho. That is probably the best one I have ever heard. He eventually changed his name to Phil to Americanize it. Honestly, Phil Yu Ho is equally funny.
Here are some other interesting names I have come across either via running, school or work:
Richard "Dick" Dent IV
Harry Pitts
Mason Cock
Nimrod Pigee
An entire family with the last name Glasscock (There were three brothers)
