Using terms like "probably worth" and coulda, woulda, shoulda, show that you don't understand athletics. You, ventolin, are a blowhard. Keep making up times and potentials. It is all you can do.
Foolish noob.

Yes, that is why people routinely blow past that mark...
We've restored some posts in this thread. People ask why they got deleted. It's likely because of the tone. There are some good posts on both sides but some on both sides start off like this:
this shows you really know nothing about the sport because of lack of research & inability to use logic
That's not the tone we want. You can say the same thing without insulting the person. If I see a post reported and it says, "You're an idiot" or "you know nothing" I'm way more likely to delete it.
My advice - when you reply take out the personal attack and it's more likely to not get deleted.
'& 26'10 / 26'20 endurance '
All he needs to do now is run 26'10 / 26'20 or 30 seconds faster than his pb.
He was training for 10,000m last year when he failed to drop Mo and showed no sign of being able to run those times you gave

I thought you only valued your own opinion after all when Cram said he could run 48 you say he is well out

So why are Ventlolins posts which regularly have a similar tone not removed?

The solution to this dilemma is really clear...
You need to ban Ventolin. He consistently insults and personally attacks anybody who disagrees with him.
Instead, posts which point out the flaws in his logic (without insulting language) are routinely deleted while his are left.
Can you restore the Kiprop thread? His running is the most exciting and discussion about his fitness is surely on topic for a running site.
First 5k was slow overall compared to the mid section (final section was rain affected)
14:10/13:49/13:42/14:24+3:05 for GK
14:10/13:49/13:42/14:32+3:23 for BK (BKM)
14:11/13:53/13:59/14:52+3:04 for MF
So that's rolling 10k splits of 27:59/27:31/28:06 for GK. 27:31 (even with perhaps a tailwind) after a 14:10 5k warm up has got to be worth 26:XX on a track at the very least?
I can see GK taking the 10000m in Rio, but Mo will be fired up.
I definitely think Kamworor has a chance at Mo over 10000.

If that is the case, I am going to report and personally email you for every single post that Ventolin makes where he calls somebody an 'diot or a fool or that they are talking 'rubbish' or 'drivel' or they are 'inept'. Or posts where he refers to athletes as 'runts' or any other insulting ways he has referred to athletes and posters on this board.
I expect to see them deleted, of course.

If we send you race videos of our races, will you tell us how fast we could have run in ideal conditions?
This would be a great service.
I second this

Well said along with Mr Obvious
Weldon ... I appreciate that you restored the posts. Thank you. But where the hell are they now?
They're back. Moderators often just check the reported posts and wouldn't have seen my note.
Yes, we need a safe space here on letsrun. ventolin triggers us all. We're SCARED. Stop his micro-aggression now!
Well it is more the frustration he causes. I dont think anyone's feelings are really hurt but he gets counter-arguments deleted and the way in which he takes over a thread with pages of insulting 'drivel' as he would call it until the entire thread (which he often hasn't started) gets deleted.
Lots of good posters steer clear now.

Hopefully the start of a trend.

I guess no Kenyan trials at Prefontaine this year.
All of Kenya is at altitude, except the coast. Kasarani is just outside Nairobi, at 4500 ft.
No Nike trials, no. A good thing.
Who is still deleting all the posts that are added to the end of this thread! And why?
Ventolin .... Admit you are wrong about Songok and Bekele.
