Hassan, Seyum Embeye are well clear of Tsegey in 4th, Martinez in 5th.
4:04.97
Seyaum's strategy to mark Hassan closely resulted in just that: all she could do was follow her to the finish line. Hassan held her lead from 800m to the line.
Pace just got too hot for Martinez with 400m to go. last 300m was covered in 45 seconds by Hassan and the Ethiopians. Martinez just didn't have the engine.
Hassan is a very attractive lady.
Also, has Martinez ever considered doing sit-ups?
I was about to post the same thing. Anyone with vision could see Adekoye is on old school T. Big traps, shoulders, terrible acne. It's all there.
Barbara Pierres traps wtf?
Anyone notice

All these doping accusations and nothing about Berian?

I don't think anyone has paid attention to Adekoye before today. Berian on the other hand, and his fans, haven't done anything to quell suspicions since last summer. Put another way, the accusations went unanswered in the fall, and still not much debate.
Curtis Beach is 55 points behind 3rd. He could run his way from 7th to 3rd with a big 1000m.
Eaton untouchable on the scoreboard.
Brugger is 119 points behind second, with a lot of guys in striking distance.
Beach is making his intentions clear. Eaton playing the role of the sweeper: slotting in behind and then slowing the pack down. Beach out in 29.
Brugger trying to mark Beach. Beach through 400m in 59, 8 strides behind.
1:29.18. 3 seconds on Brugger. He needs 5 to make up the points.
What a race!
1:58.54 through 800m
Only Grabarz clears 2.33 on first try. Still 11 men left, this is going to take a while.
Wow! 2:29.05. Brugger right around 2:34 flat.
Brugger may hold off beach, but it is tight.

The more interesting question is, " can Beach get bronze?" To catch Germany's, Mathias Brugger, whom Beach trails by 67 points, Beach needs to beat him by 5.8 seconds (as well as beat the others ahed of him in the standings). Brugger has a 2:38.05 pb.
That was awesome!!! Brugger ran a huge pb!!! Beach ran ballsy as hell but the German was only 5.1 seconds back. The GErman ran what a 4-second PB to win bronze!!
Beach 8 points from bronze.
Barshim hits the bar on 2.33m.
Eaton confirms his status with 6670 points.
Great run by Brugger. Beach falls short by 8 points.
Kynard has one failure in the competition at 2.33. Clears it on his second try.
He's in a really good spot moving forward. I think only Barshim has one other miss (but hasn't cleared 2.33 yet.)
Barshim limping away after backing off his 2nd attempt. Bows out of the competition.
