Hey, any good source on how to train for trail running? I know it's impossible to find good sources like Canova, Lydiard, Daniel's....
But I hate how a lot of people in the trail running world just train by feel and not professional at all, may be influenced for Kilian Jornet who trains when, as much and how he likes/feels.
By trail running I don't mean ultras, I mean running at a pro level in a race where you have to constantly go up and downhill.
I don't think there is such a good source as the top level people I mentioned above, but with this post I aim to start a new threat about how would be an ideal training approach specific for trail running. Differences between building mileage and metres of ascencion, how to plan a season, strength training...
Tons of different topics related on trail running which I think they can grow this nice sport.
This post is intended to be a serious one, please if you want to criticise trail running or my low level of english, go somewhere else.
