Hey, how about a positive test?
Mo Farah never tested positive 4 anything but he is accused of doping 24/7 around here by 99% of Letsrunners
Only 1:20 improvement to #3 all-time. Nothing to see here...
Sorry, #4 AT. And smashes Kiprop's course record.

Do the splits even add up? 15k (41:54) - 10k (28:05) = 13:49?

"fast pace from the start and went through the 5km checkpoint in 14:45.
As the pace then speeded up, the leading pack was whittled down to four men at 10km: Kirwa Yego, Birech, Kipkoech Langat and Kwemoi. The quartet went through at 10km in a super-fast 28:05 with gap of 16 seconds over Limo.
Kipkoech Langat and Kirwa Yego then pulled away after Kwemoi at 11 kilometres and went through 15km in 41:54, with a gap of 36 seconds over Kwemoi and Birech.
The two Kenyan leaders then battled it out until 18 kilometres when Kirwa Yego increased his pace further and broke away from his countryman and rival."
Splits according to above article
14:45 (14:45)
28:06 (13:21)
41:54 (13:48)
58:44 (16:50 for 6.1k, ~13:45 5k)
In 2012 he raced 10 halfs in 1:01 to 1:03 with one of them in 1:08.
Were they testing in Kenya in 2012?
Just answer the question.
Speaking of numbers:
The article says they reached 5k in 14:45, 10k in 28:05 (13:20 2nd 5k split), 15k in 41:54 (13:49 3rd 5k split), and finished in 58:44. (13:48 pace for the last 6.1k)
13:20? Wow!
Sometimes your tendons are just that much more elastic and your ankles shorten overnight.

Also not in the IAAF testing pool

Definitely he finally learned how to run properly by practicing for years. I strum a guitar endlessly every day and one day I'm going to suddenly be Santana.
Was the second 5k downhill or mismeasured? The guy just took 2 1/2 minutes or 3 minutes off his 15k time, enroute, and took time off his 10k time as well--speeding up after that. Something is not right here.

Roma-Ostia is in line race, and downhill. Yesterday also wind in favour.
Not valid for any personal or absolute record.
Fred, I'm really tired to read stupidities as you wrote.
Do you know the position in Kenya in 2015 of Solomon Kirwa Yego ? He was n. 27. Find a Country that goes to test OOC some athletes n. 27 in the national list, and I quit immediately to follow athletics.
Go to see in the site of IAAF the new statistics about the antidoping controls during 2014 : you can see that the MOST TESTED ATHLETES IN THE WORLD, both in competition and OOC, both fur urine and blood, both for normal antidoping and for the Biological Passport, are KENYAN.
So, one thing is to say that the local antidoping (managed by a Kenyan Agency) doesn't exist or doesn't work (that's true), another thing to say that Kenyan are not tested, BECAUSE THIS IS A BIG LIE AND AN UNBELIEVABLE BULLSHIT.
The problem is that, because the quantity of athletes running in every part of the world, Kenyan go to win the most part of their races. But you must understand one thing : the athletes in top 30 in the World are part of the Whereabout system of IAAF, and are systematically tested by task forces of WADA of IAAF itself ; the athletes NON in TOP 10 OF THE COUNTRY are not tested by anybody, but the same thing happens IN ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
Do you think the USADA goes to test OOC some sprinter running 10'20" ? Put in your mind that Kenyan running Marathon in 2:07' are exactly the same of US sprinters of 10'20", as their position inside the Country.
So, also if there is a Kenyan Antidoping Agency working, what can change ? One thing only : to put antidoping controls IN ALL THE DOMESTIC COMPETITIONS, in order to take this 3rd level athletes who look at doping hoping to close the gap with the bests, WHO ARE TOTALLY CLEAN.
I'm really tired to read a lot of stupidities from people who NEVER came Kenya, NEVER had some idea of the life in this Country, NEVER met a real top talent, NEVER had idea about what they do in training, NEVER had the opportunity to speak with somebody of them, and EVER think to know what happens here, what there is in the mind of people, which the level of life and education is, starting from the news that some idiot and not honest journalist looking for scoops only and for personal advantages spreads around.
Only people totally idiot can compare a doped athlete of Kenya (who can have an average income in one year of 2000 USD when is lucky) with Lance Armstrong, only people without brain can compare the organization of some team of cyclists, costing one million dollars, with the assumption of tablets costing 2 USD each one.
I don't say all Kenyan are clean, I know personally people who try to climb mirrors for increasing their results. But these are ignorant people, normally not strong (for Kenyan parameters), abused by doctors and pharmacists who go to cheat them using their ignorance, their lack of education, and their dreams.
If somebody of high level used doping (and the only two cases were Rita Jeptoo and Mathew Kisorio), was because also in this case the common denominator was IGNORANCE, LITTLE EDUCATION and SMALL BRAIN.
Different the case of Emily Chebet, for example, who is married to an athlete already using doping in the past, and who for that reason quitted his career.
Before speaking and calumning athletes who are guilty for being talented and very hard workers only, I think the most part of people here have to wash their mouth, and possibly their brain too. But I suppose the last thing is almost impossible.

Stop spinning this lie Renato. You know it's not true.
Kenya is the most tested nation BY THE IAAF. Those nations that are trusted do most of their own testing so they don't appear very highly on that list.
Renato, so their top female runner is an uneducated idiot with a small brain and all the sub-elites are educated purists?
You're delusional about drug use there. In other countries the just below elite pool is much smaller and the incentive to cheat is far less because they can just get real jobs.
Ok, they are the MOST TESTED BY IAAF AND WADA. So, two things :
1) How many test OOC there are (urine and blood) in the Countries having a working Antidoping Agency ?
2) WHY THE GENERAL IDEA IS THAT KENYAN ARE NOT TESTED AT ALL?
I don't care if the test comes from local antidoping agency, or from IAAF, or from WADA. THE FACT IS THAT PEOPLE MUST QUIT TO SAY KENYAN ARE NOT TESTED, because they ARE TESTED.
So, I supposed to be clear when I wrote : one thing is that the AKAD (Antidoping Kenya) doesn't work, different thing that the Kenyan athletes are not tested. Of course, the best, because, how I already said, THERE IS NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD TESTING OOC ATHLETES NOT IN TOP 10 IN THE NATIONAL SEASONAL LISTS.
Try to understand what I write without immediately going down to some polemic, because, if the reader is a person with normal balance, you appear as one not honest who only wants to speak changing the signification of what I wrote.
Renato, what was the 10 mile world best, and what did Solomon Kirwa Yego just run the last 10 miles of his half in?
How many guys can run a 61-21 half nine times a year?
If Rupp ran 44 flat for 10 miles, people would want to see his test results.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
