endurance athletes in other sports do much more regarding lactate loads back-to-back performances in short time spans... michael phelps swimming multiple semis and finals in single days in 2008.. each effort harder than ches's 5000 meters. college swimmer do this as well..
and athletes do it in running too, as the other great athletes in this thread make clear. so they are also all dopers, by hater logic. (whoops, didn't think that part through did yuh). you have to be an equal opportunity hater because double standards don't fly on this board. maybe with your friends but not here.
picking ches the doper, and not all the other athletes doing similar feats means you didn't get into Oregon, like the rest. tough.
Clearly Ches's 5000 was a warm up with lactate levels approaching that of a very hard mile at the end. not taxing for ches. had he come back and run a 2nd 5k in under 14:00 you still wouldn't have an argument..
