I show my Cornell bias as my first interview is up with Cornell's James Gowans who made the mile final:

You can check out additional interviews here:
Cameron Burrell had a NCAA meet record of 6.50m in the rounds of the men's 60m. He was surprised by the time as the two guys next to him had a better start. He said the goal was to run as well as he did to get to the meet and make sure he made the final. He had no idea he'd set the meet record until he was told about it in the interview.
He is the son of former WR holder Leroy Burrell.

LetsRun messageboard posters, please enjoy your posting. You may not be able to post much longer. WheN I got here, the NCAA media rep told me that they had received some complaints from coaches about the quality of our interviews. They had credentialed us but we should be careful as we might not get credentialed outdoors.
I was like, "Our interviews are always professional. I assume a coach is upset about the messageboard. That's ridiculous. We are credentialed at the Olympics and I've dedicated 15 years of my life to covering this sport."
She said she wasn't sure but maybe that was it and she'd try to find out.
I then talked to a source who told me the executive committee of NCAA coaches had talked about not credentialing any website that had an anonymous messageboard. One coach was leading the charge.
So your right to express yourself is in jeopardy.
Coaches, if you have a problem with the messageboard, we publicly post our emails and phone numbers. Give us a call and we'll look into it. If you do something bad and people talk about it, don't blame me.
sometimes the Letsrun Official meet threads are captivating and exciting to folloW if you can't stream the meet. details, splits, constant banter and updates.
this is not one of those threads.
BORE-a@@
rojo, gawd, you're pathetic.
"I was like..." I think you mean "I said..."
"So your right..." I think you mean "So you're right..."
Holy crepe. Just take a month. Maybe two. Learn some basic grammar. Learn the difference between the its, the theirs, and the yours. ugh. You're just such a morun.
It's not us, rojo. It's you. You don't have to be an idiot.
there's good stuff about training and injuries and meet schedules on here. i'd hate to lose that. that's me being genuinei suppose the risk of an anonymous board is there is lots of bad with the good. could you just remove the anonymity altogether with registered names? I think there'd be way less vitriol and idiot postings if that happened anywayyour interviews may be professional, but the article are teeming with grammatical and spelling errors.

Clayton just ran the easiest 1:46.9 I've ever seen. Will win tomorrow, no doubt.
Down goes Frazier!
Just became a lot more likely, Brazier is out!
Let me get this straight. So all milers are stupid for believing their best chance is to rely on their kick? But wouldn't they absolute morons if they decided to try to serve as pacers for the field by leading?
Nice to see Ducks fail in the ladies 800. Only one to the finals.

that's totally correct, Malmoeither way, leading or kicking, you have to be the best milers to advance

The undefeated Senior, who has the highest racing IQ in the field, was overlooked in favor of a pair of wunderbär freshman. Kidder for the win.

Princeton's Ceclia Barowski was thrilled with her heat 1 victory. Her goal in the final is to break 2:03 (and qualify for the Trials). She said even if she finishes last and runs uner 2:03 she'll be happy.
Everyone's NCAA 800 predictions just took a huge hit. Donovan Brazier pulled up on the 3rd lap and was a DNF. Andres Arroyo - the #3 seed - was way off his game and didn't advance. Clayton Murphy looked amazing.

DNF Donavan Brazier Texas A&M -
Texas A&M's Hector Hernandez said he was susprised by hits teammates DNF. He said he dind't even realize he pulled up in the race and wasn't aware of any issue that Brazier was having.
Arroyo is happy with the progress he's made this year and thinks he just had a bad day.
Is anyone else sick of hearing the announcers talk $hit about this facility? Every other heat we hear them say something about how tight the turns are, how the bank isn't high enough, etc. I'm half convinced that one of the Arkansas coaches slipped them $100 to constantly mention how much faster their track is than the Crossplex.
So if you were watching that epic men's 3k at USAs and missed the beginning of the 5k at NCAAs, Curtin took it out in 61 for the first 400. The top 3 were clear of the field by 800.
Now it's just Curtin and Cheserek . The chase pack was running 70s during the first mile.
416 at the mile for top two and 427 for chase pack.
Kudos for Curtin for making Ches work for it a little.
