It is just a bit stupid (and blind) to look at the man who dominates the 5k and 10k and has done for years, who easily beats any of the best 5000m runners in the world and has beaten some of the top 5k guys of all time, and then say that the 1500m specialist with no 5000m pedigree at all will beat said man at his own game.
You have 0 evidence to support your idea other than you personally like Kiprop more than Farah.
This is like saying Bolt would beat Van Niekerk over 400m. Just insanity. I thought you guys on here know athletics?
It's just as stupid to say Kiprop wouldn't beat Mo over 5000m "ever".
El G raced Bekele, the fastest man over 5000m the world has ever seen, and El G beat him twice. Mo got beaten by an out of shape Bekele over 13.1m because Mo ran a stupid race. Stuff happens. Look at Tergat and Geb in 2000. Or Wilson Kipketer in Sydney. Etc. etc. how many times have the Kenyans et al said they'd run it hard to take the sting out of Mo and then it's a slow paced race and no one goes with pacers?
If Mo had to push the pace hard to take the sting out of Kiprop, he'd be playing into the hands of guys like Hagos, etc, who are all (if in shape) sub 12-50 guys, AND have a solid kick. If they take the pace out and Mo can sit behind them, he's clearly the dominate athlete. But if he has to step up and someone like Gebremeskel or Kejelcha or Caleb can tuck in behind him, he'd have a much reader time with it.
El G beat him in 2003, but who predicted Bekele would be beaten AGAIN in 2004?
