Awesome thank you!
Awesome thank you!
Link much appreciated! Anyone come across a runner tracker link?
29:49 I think at 10k
59:36 at 20k so still on 2:05 high pace.
1:01:14 for 2nd pack at 20k
1:02:55 for leaders at halfway. Pacers were a few seconds faster
huge pack right under 65:00 at half way, these guys are that much deeper than us? we'll see in a little over an hour I guess

Nope. Does not work for me.
Murayama got dropped real quick after half way
Murayama falling off the leaders now. Did he kill himself by going out so fast, or can he still run 2:06/2:07?
Also there were almost 30 guys at 64:45 for the half in the second group, most of them Japanese.

Yikes, he dropped back like a rock... I'll bet he's gonna get passed by the 2nd group by 30k.

leaders are still on 2:05:4x pace through 24K and he's well over a minute behind. He'd be fortunate to run 2:10 or even finish
5k: 14:59 for leaders (rabbits a few seconds ahead)
7 Africans break away during 8th kilometer.
10k: 29:37 (14:38) Murayama has joined leaders
15k: 44:27 (14:50). Still those 8.
20k: 59:35 (15:08) 2:05:44 pace 1:01:10 for second pack, which contains a ton of Japanese guys, some foreigners
1:02:53 at halfway; 1:04:45 for second pack (almost 30 guys in 2nd pack)
Murayama falling off leaders now just after halfway
25k: 1:14:30 (14:55). Seven men: Mutai, Kipyego, Lilesa, Kiprotich, Kiptanui, Kirui, Chumba
Murayama still on sub-2:07 pace through 25k but he's fading.
1:14:30 25k for leaders (not pacers
1:15:11 for Murayama so he ran 15:35 that 5k (Which is 5 minute pace). He was going 4:50 pace

Murayama at 2:06:5x pace through 25k but looking fairly comfortable? 2:10 high pace for chase pack
loving this commentary team

Found this:
http://p.marathon.tokyo/numberfile/1.htmlThe number after "numberfile/" is the bib number. Bib 1 is E Mutai, 2 is Dickson Chumba ... Bib 29 is Kenta Murayama
I found the link through Abel Kirui's twitter, haha.
https://twitter.com/AbelKirui1I tuned in a 45 minutes in. Now they are 1:22, I have yet to see a female runner. I've got to wonder, is this a sexist thing in Japan? or could there possibly be major issues with all of the cameras following the females?!? This is not acceptable.
