ACC's this weekend... Any bold predictions??
ND and NC State's distance squads this year are impressive on the girl's side of things... Should create some interesting races

Big injury news out of raleigh...numero uno gone for the year.
How does qualifying work for this? Can anyone be entered in an event or what is the deal exactly?
Max of 4 runners per event... There are qualifying marks, though you can bring 2 "Wild Cards" for each event who have not yet met the qualifying standards.
Vargas???
If Vargas is out, the distance events are going to be the Knight - Curtin shootout.
I haven't seen Heat Sheets, so I don't know which events they're running. I imagine that Curtin will run 3K, 5K and maybe DMR given Tech's the defending Men's champ.
Given 'Cuse's depth in distance events, I can see them winning the Men's side. They could win about 60 - 70 pts on distance alone (including DMR). 100 pts won last year. So, Knight might be running a lot of events, too.
Check out Tech's Pole Vault performances--they have 5 of the top 7 athletes in the ACC. So, they'll get a LOT of pts there.
Are heat sheets out yet?
Jonathan Reynolds is one to look out for. Kid is very strong on kicking and if the mile is tactical, some of the favorites may get lit up.

With a 4:16 mile? Will he make the final? It could be somewhat tactical but with that time, he'd need the race of his life to win. I'd say the race will be between Wynne, Knight, and Gourley. What is up with Patrick Joseph (defending indoor mile and outdoor 800 champ)? Is he recovering from an injury?

The meet starts in approx 40 hours. You would think that heat sheets would be up by now. Are they available anywhere?

I'm seeing that entries are open until later tonight so I guess the heat sheets should be out tomorrow
I just hope that they get the hear sheets up before the racing starts, otherwise, it will cause confusion

Wow, Syracuse is taking the ACC very seriously. Knight and Bennie are both doubling the 3000m and 5000m

Knight's in the DMR heat sheet, too. Don't miss tonight's DMR. It's going to be crazy. I see 'Cuse beating UVA.

On paper. They will probably make a game-time decision; wouldn't be surprised to see either one scratch a race.

I wouldn't count out VT and Wake Forest from being in the mix

Where did you see the detailed heat sheet? Who is running the 1200m and the 800m for Syracuse?
Looks like most teams are putting an A squad in for tonight. I'd expect that to make things go fast. Teams in the mix should be Cuse, UVA, Va Tech, ND, Wake, and maybe even FSU. Gonna be an exciting race for sure!
