Nice to see Oregon get 3 indoor school records and 3 NCAA leading times. King Ches has the fastest time in the NCAA by 8 seconds and Rodgers almost 3 seconds for the 800 wow. Love to see if Rodgers Feldmeir and Leblanc can go 1-2-3 at NCAA indoors or outdoors for that matter this year GO DUCKS

I thought Merber did a good job as the rabbit. He went out like he was supposed to, after about 250 meters realized nobody wanted to go with him and came back to the field.
Saw her win NBNO by a huge margin her senior year. Don't remember the time, but well under 210. Extremely impressive. She looked more like a classic 400 runner than a mid-distance runner. She's clearly coming at it from the speed side. If they develop her strength and speed endurance properly, she will be a lethal 800 runner.

Merber did a good job as rabbit in that mile. The announcer said they wanted to go thru in 1:54 but when the field didn't follow him he dialed back. Kept his head and became an instrumental part of a Wannamaker record mile.
Colby Alexander totally killed it setting up that 3000. Fastest time in the world for the winner. Seemed like he didn't vary in his pace much at all til the last lap when he glanced over his shoulder and slowed a bit to allow the field to close a gap of about a second.
Pacing can be a tough, under-appreciated gig. Good job to Merber and Alexander.
How did Hasay look? What is going on with her? Was she limping or tight?
Did Alexa e run a pr she looked good early but faded again

We're investigating.
Anyone notice in the 800 it looked like Brenda Martinez stumbled over the rail on the backstretch?
Centro is very good.
Yep, I saw that stumble too. Didn't look like it was from any contact though .

Ajee ran 1:58 and finished 6th at world's at the same age (19). She'd have been 4th if you eliminate the dopers. So, not faster or better at the same age but still a lot of promise.
I was a HS freshman at a NJ school in 1981 and I went to my first Millrose Games by train with my teammates.
Here's a link to results:
I have to think this era was one of the very best in our sport. So many of those events that were contested for decades and decades (500 yard run, 1000 yard run, etc are long canceled).
But check out the names....Nyambui, Stones, Salazar, Fred Sowerby, Paige, Dr. Thomas Wessenhage!

Did Jäger really ride that bike or was it a stunt double?
That was his cross training bike
Hasay didn't look injured, she just looked flat. She started the race at the back of the pack and stayed there. Never was in the mix and doesn't seem to have any foot speed right now (despite her posting speed workout vids on her Instagram). I know she was injured over the summer, but she's been competing since December, so she can't blame her poor showing on "rust." At the rate she's going, she might not even qualify for the Trials.

Can Rupp finish in the top two at USAs and qualify for Worlds in the 3? I think it's a toss-up.
He just completed a marathon a week ago. His training has not been geared for a 3k. I would not be surprised to see him skip indoors and focus on outdoor season training.
while millrose was great does anybody think the following?
Were some fields too big (example the mens 800- 9 guys? Field should have been 7 - 1 guy in each lane and the rabbit and the 6th seed sharing a lane until the break)
Is the meet just too long? 6 hours from start to finish. In the last years at MSG to get anybody in the seats events were added and added to try to get any friend/family member to buy a ticket. At the time they were trying to sell over 10,000 seats. Now that the meet is at the Armory with seating just over 5000 the meet should cut lots of that fat out of the meet and get it down to a tight 3 hour event. One of those meets where you look at the order of events and say crap there is only 2 events left. Not look at the order of events (after being there for 3 hours) and say oh crap we still have 3 hours to go.
Again, nope. Big fields made for some exciting racing. And if 6 hours is too long for you, then just show up later for the marquee events & make it a 3 hour meet, or a 2 hour meet, or just arrive @ 5:50, watch the Wannamaker Mile & head over to Coogans?
Am I crazy, or are these some really really solid times that aren't being discussed? Efraimson looked really solid leading the chase pack for much of the race, and Uceny mixed it up really well to come away with one of her better performances in quite some time. And I'm not even mentioning the top 4...anyways, good stuff from the women milers.
