I heard they're just doing a 60 second commercial in the middle of the Wanamaker later tonight. We'll see the first 600 or so, then be pleasantly rewarded with the last 4 or 500 meters. Thanks, NBC!

2:03 through 800m in the men's 3000. Cheserek sitting on the pacer, followed by Jenkins, Hill, Jager, and Dunbar.
Quit trolling...
So the Canadian Negro won, and the Chinaman was third. If Hutchings had said that, guess how many people would've been up in arms.
Cheserek. Face palm.
usatf feed had camera on sand in long jump pit along with the overweight official sitting on chair, then as I could hear the bell lap of the 3k, it panned to the LJ again from women's PV to have camera on jumpers as they were trying to figure out places....no camera on 3k....waste of time.
I will never watch usatftv again. During the men 3000 they showed people TALKING about LJ.
lol u do know the usatf feed is only covering field right

Which is the official advice, as otherwise they attempt to move out, in mid-race delirium, and cut off or collide with a faster runner due to not having eyes in the back of their head. The only other option would have to be an official moving them out, in which case they will be running a much longer distance. There seem to be few other options that are sane and clear, but perhaps you have a better idea?
2 times in the last 2 laps the lapped runners were two wide trying to race each other... It was messy looking.
Yes, I am not saying I agree with the rules, but that's the rule and there is a logic to it. Change the rule? Not a bad discussion, but comments like these (and the responses to my post) have been around as long as I can remember (long time).

USATF only have the rights to broadcast field events they will not be showing track races
Remember when Cam Levins was a force to be reckoned with last year? Now he's a bottom-feeder on the indoor circuit.
Jäger did not look like he was even trying to win that race. Great job by Mead kicking early to remove grandpa Chez from contention. Hill owes Mead a beer. Both look ultra fit.

I understand the rule to be to stay in lane 1 as a lapped runner, but that is NOT what happened during the last 2 laps.

Bahahahahaha
Brojos is there an IAAF rule that only hot chicks can pole vault?
Are we gonna get a whole bunch of Hasay getting lapped and DFLs again?
When are people going to learn to stop celebrating before the line? Hilarious that it happens all the time, but you'd think eventually people would start to get it...
