Sorry for the delay. We had to recode the scoring system as we tried to improve it this time around.

If you notice any errors in scoring post here. Computers don't make mistakes but sometimes the humans programming them do!

Ha! MPR won the men's contest. I can guess why he didn't win the women's...
-
SCORE!!! 10th overall
-
Assume not picking Rupp caused me to be waaaay down in the standings/
Only 72 people were tied with or behind me . -
there should be a way to see the results without a user name
-
If I'm not mistaken none of the contests have ever had open viewing. You always entered via your registered name.

possibly
but you can just type someone else's name in and see the results that way - it's not like there is a secret here. -
My kids just qualified for Nationals in the shuttle hurdle relay and I have to buy them uniforms. I want to use Runningwarehouse.com. Any coupon codes?
-
Will your Federation let them run in a uniform with a LetsRun logo on it?
-
I got 48th in the men's division... How disappointing. I was really hoping to go see Jill Greathouse during her run in a few weeks wearing it.
-
sure- they picked a singlet from Runningwarehouse, however.
-
Wejo,
Will there be a release of the estimated finish times by each registrant? Even if there are no awards, it'd be interesting to see a graph of the results.
I know I was just 12 seconds off from Galen's finish time. -
I should have entered it.

Odd scoring system allowed wemoco to place 2nd overall. Even though he only pick 9 out of the 20 that actually finished in the top 10 of each race. (whereas I picked 12 out of 20 to place in the top 10 of each race but placed 188th overall, for example).

I wish I copied nikeman's preview picks on the women's side. He analyzed that perfectly. I dumbly didn't believe Cragg would come back from NYC 2013. Congrats to nikeman!
I picked Misiker as a longshot, but she didn't even start. Anyone know why? She was confirmed when I checked Saturday morning. -
if you want to see the top 30 for men/women/overall, just type my name into the box, or nikeman, or anyone else that was top 30 in anything

My original picks on the women's side:
1) Amy Cragg 2:27:50
2) Desiree Linden 2:27:55
3) Shalane Flanagan 2:28:12
4) Serena Burla (ended up 8th)
5) Deena Kastor (DNS)
6) Sara Hall (DNF)
7) Kara Goucher (ended up 4th)
8) Janet Bawcom (ended up 5th)
9) Lindsay Flanagan (ended up 14th)
10) Kellyn Taylor (ended up 6th)
Here's what I submitted in the LetsRun contest:
1. Amy Cragg (1) 115
2. Desiree Linden (2) 65
3. Shalane Flanagan (3) 45
4. Serena Burla (8) 1
5. Sara Hall (>15) 0
6. Kara Goucher (4) 3
7. Kellyn Taylor (6) 4
8. Janet Bawcom (5) 2
9. Lindsay Flanagan (14) 0
10. Annie Bersagel (>15) 0
I was off by 30 seconds on the winning time. I predicted 2:27:50. The biggest surprise of the race for me was Kara Goucher placing as high as she did. -

I curse Rupp for running and winning the damn thing. I trusted the warm weather forecast would keep him a DNS.
