Of course, it cuts both ways. Almost every supporter of Kara or Salazar critic is met with a "Hi Adam!" from the rabble, as if Adam Goucher would have the time to churn out a dozen posts an hour here even if he had the motivation (and he knows better).
Pretty sure Adam has that sort of time.
Positive that Salazar's kids post on LRC. He pays them well to control his negative public relations.

KARA WAS THREATENED YESTERDAY!! Yeah, that's right, she was THREATENED.
Can you expand on this?
Al Sal is gaming the system.
He's been up against Lance Armstrong programs throughout the world.
He likes to win. He's pragmatic.
He is a prick 50% and 50% loyal guy to his own.
When the chips are down, most people are worse than Al. They will cheat on whatever may be the case in life. Screw friends, the tax man, lie to the wife, slander etc.
We have a scorned woman. She'll be doing whatever she can to murder her foe.
Nike, IAAF, OG committee, USTF, and pretty much all the athletics federations on the planet are FUBAR.
It's Shakespeare all over again.
This is really the first time there is a glimpse of the reality under the surface.
Of course, the peasants have their heads so far up their arse, they are surprised by all.
Just an idea, maybe try and take a clear look at what is in your face. Rather than go along with fairy tail notions.
lol... this is exactly the right venue - when you've got a microphone in front of your face.Sorry that your marathon trials can't all be choreographed by Disney.

How incredibly disappointing. Not the proper venue at all. If every member of NOP is proven to free base nandrolone and dianobol I'll still have a more negative impression of Goucher.

I thought it was great reminder...with Rupp being at center of NOP scandal. There was no mention of it on NBC or any of major media outlets.
It just shows how hard they are trying to market Rupp and NBC Olympic T&F coverage even though there is ongoing USADA investigation.
Did you see how many hits the video has? In the thousands...probably viewed by most hard core running USA fans.
Great job by all athletes...I hope Luke P eventually gets on team....if Rupp found to be guilty by USADA.
The interview has been picked up by major media outlets.

yes because someone who herself takes thyroid medication ought to be that person....
Absolutely!!

I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that USADA would have let Galen start/run/win/qualify/dominate camera time/bring more attention to himself if they had ANY evidence that he (and his team) were about to "sink".
Galen (and NOP) are grey-line clean.. the best kind of clean ;)
Three months ... that is the instant gratification demand of a millennial.
LOL ... how many years was Lance Armstrong retired BEFORE he was brought down?
My mistake... It's actually been almost 9 months since the accusations...
Time flies when the story hasn't been updated in almost half a year!
Keep your fingers crossed, haters! Maybe they'll find something incriminating before Galen is 50!

The things you guys are saying about Goucher are similar to the things said about Lemond -- bitter to be out of the spotlight, resentful of better riders, etc. How'd that turn out?
My thoughts exactly. Bitter? yes. Unprofessional? Maybe. But, she had to be emotional and run down after her 4th place finish in the race...not to mention exhausted and probably not in a calm frame of mind. Then someone asked questions that pushed some buttons for her.
I would be angry if I knew of cheating going on and saw folks getting away with it.
A number of folks other than Kara have made some pretty serious allegations. The BBC documentary mentions at least 3 or 4 others, including Magness, a former massage therapist at NOP, and a former HS competitor of Rupp's. Surely, they can't all just be bitter. The reports seem fairly consistent.
At the end of the day, AlSal will probably be cleared as they won't be able to prove wrongdoing. He is a smart man and a good doper who has figured out how to do it without getting caught. That is the game, and he is at the top of it.
Money will bury it the story. That is a given. Does not make anyone clean.
The sport is tainted, will remain tainted, and who even cares about the Olympic's in Rio which will be cancelled.

The sport of T&F is a wasteland of PEDs and a very disinterested general public here in the U.S.
It's a shame what's happened to a once great sport.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Let that be a lesson to you Al, don't ever insinuate that a woman is fat.

Why is it every time someone posts in support of Salazar they are a member of his family or a fanboy or PR drones?
I agree, this drives me nuts (on both sides of the argument). Every anti-Mo thread, as soon as someone defends him at all, someone jumps up and says "Freud drones are responding". Every anti-Rupp/Salazar thread, as soon as someone defends them, someone immediately says "Hi Tony/Alex/Maria". Even the response to posts defending Kara are met with "Hi Adam!". It might be an even worse joke that the "Who?" response posted on 99% of threads.
Can't we just appreciate a bunch of awesome performances yesterday?
I have always been a Kara fan but airing out your rage before the cameras is getting old. She is a representative of the sport, she should act professional, leave the profanity at home and lose gracefully!

The USADA certainly has something(s) on NOP. The real problem is navigating through the legal minefields set by the NOP attorneys (gag orders, challenges, delays, etc.). Eventually the NOP money will run out, and it will be full speed ahead for the USADA. Rupp will be retired by then, but still in his early-mid thirties. Farah will be no where to be found--hiding on a private island somewhere. Salazar will likely kick the bucket when he realizes he can no longer stop the USADA train.
Kara reminds me of a jaded ex-girlfriend. She has the same tone of voice, mannerisms, and conviction to her craziness. The accusations may be groundless, but she sure believes to her core that her former beau is a son-of-a-b$@#!.
kjc wrote:
Kara needs to come clean and admit her doping past.
1:06 Half Marathon PR and can't crack 1:10 anymore?? Suspicious?
More suspicious is Salazar-Rupp realizing Rupp is not world class at 5k--not even top American-- and moving on to longer distance and suddenly seemingly capable of competing at sub 2:05 (NOP fan prediction). Very, very suspicious.

What, Salazar was never her beau. He tried but Adam bitch-slapped him around. Salazar has been Rupp's beau for the last 15 years.
