Did someone screw up and offer paper shredders instead of water at mile 24?
What happened to the guys shirt?
Looks like he shredded it before the race in an effort to keep cool
Me in a NYC cap!!!
Has the horrendous music in the background at the finish line bugged anyone else all race? NBC needs to figure out a way to put their announcers in a booth like they do at the Tour.
Guy named "Payne" finished just as the winners were being interviewed. Fitting.
Looking at Cragg and Flanagan, did Hammond just say "buff" instead of "birth"?
Cragg and Flanagan have a 53second lead on Linden. Linden like 36 on Goucher.
Looks like team is pretty much set unless something drastic happens.
Will Amy and Shalane duke it out or hold hands across the finish?
not with 80k on the line...
It was shredded in the back as well. Looked like paper shir

Does it look like Amy has blisters .... form seems to reflect a bit of ginger on her feet?

I predict Kara will cry like a baby crossing the line in 4th... and we will have to watch it
that is when I turn it off...

Are cragg and shalane gonna hold hands and finish together hobbyjogger style?!?!?!
If they do, it's DQ for not giving an honest effort to win.

not with 80k on the line.
the sketchers commercial is awkward now, with goucher being all... in fourth

If only Meb was actually born in the u.s.
Ugh...
Here since junior high, before he started running. Close enough imo
Shalane looks to be just hanging on to Amy right now. Amy consistently half a step ahead
It looks like Meb should get Ward some Generation Ucan or whatever that stuff is

time means nothing.
you had a 208.5 minute equivalent effort.
you need a 204 effort to win top marathons., so rupp probably has at least a 206 in him, but more? that is the big question.
look for rupp at 10k, and marathon. if at the OG the 10k metal is not available, he can just jog home the last 800 m and go for the marathon.
something like that.
How many 2:04 efforts have we seen in an Olympic marathon again?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
