Peyton drinks Budweiser and he doesn't afraid of anything.

No kidding.
I was watching with a bunch of Denver fans and I was rooting for them myself and we all thought the game was awesome. The Denver defense obliterated the Panthers and Manning was hardly part of the game. If you can't enjoy the #1 defense dismantling the #1 offense you are probably just a very casual football fan and do not understand the finer points of the game. And this is coming from someone that doesn't get too deep into the finer points.
No, you were watching with a bunch of people who want to think they know football, and whose team was winning. That game was ugly. Yes, the Bronco's defense was good, but, the Panthers were terrible and made many mistakes that had nothing to do with the Bronco's defense.
But go ahead and believe that Carolina lost only because of the Denver defense, prove you all know nothing about football. Idiots.
BTW - I wanted the Broncos to win and I loved watching Cam Newton lose - but there was a lot of terrible play by both teams. Clearly you all don't know enough about football to have noticed it. Ignorance is bliss.
Some people are better at marketing than you.
As a Bronco and Manning fan, I thought it was a little tacky. Not the having a few beers part, but the Budweiser plug. Manning has made a boat load of money off of endorsements, he doesn't need to plug a company in that moment.
At minimum, he should have said he was going to enjoy a few Odells! :)
Yes, it was ugly, a very ugly win. But it was a win forged by a superior defensive line that totally rattled Cam and never let the Panthers get in rhythm. Peyton was horrible. He did everything he could to keep Carolina in the game. Probably the worst offensive performance to win a SB, maybe ever. But he's been pretty bad all season. That one throw early in the game to the right sideline that was almost picked by Norman... You could see on Manning's face that he put everything he had into the throw. He's done.
But Carolina played a weak schedule, 5th weakest I believe, and had yet to face a defense as good as Denver. They came in thinking they were going to run roughshod over the Broncos, and their arrogance got stymied pretty quickly. All of the "experts" who are supposed to know the game obviously are just a bunch of arm chair QBs themselves. I think only one guy from ESPN had Denver winning by more than a TD. If Cam is contained, he looks pretty damn mediocre. A couple decent throws but otherwise a deer in headlights. Perfect defensive scheme but also a very predictable one.
Anyway, an ugly win is a win nonetheless. I also think Manning acted very classless giving Bud props, not once, not twice, but three times. Not a great example to set for the youth looking up to you. He had to know he was going to be asked the retirement question. So that's not an excuse. He conducted himself about as poorly as Newton. But then again, maybe he really does like Bud. I wouldn't be shocked.
"Well, first thing I'm gonna do is renew my Nationwide car insurance. Because they're on my side. Next up, I'm gonna drive my Buick down to the store and pick me up some Budweisers, and then stop and get me a Poppa John's pizza on the way home. Yessir, that's what I'm a gunna do."
yeah that Manning what a loser. 2 SBs, most NFL records, millions of dollars, yeah man that dude is a loser.
Runners could learn a thing or two from other sports. Or should I say, USAT&F could...
What I've learned is that people are willing to be offended by anything.

+10 He has a ton of money he doesn't have to use this special moment to shill for a product. As someone who has always had a ton of respect for Peyton I was very disappointed.
Peyton have some respect for the game and the moment and the fans. NOT COOL at all.
Thinking so highly of Peyton I was more bothered by that than Newton being a baby in the post conference.
