Not sure you can call yourself a man if you do. Regardless of whatever flagpoles criteria might be.
Is it acceptable if I ran this morning to not run during the superbowl? What if I promise not to watch it?
I don't have a TV so yes, I will be running.
I would but am injured atm.

Me too. Possibly stress reaction tibal plateau.
I was going to run during the super bore, but I wasn't sure what time the game started. I ran in the morning instead.
Yup, it's becoming my yearly tradition to leave my wife alone watching for the first half while I get some miles in.
I went skiing today. For a Sunday, the crowd was about half of what it usually is. Beautiful. Wish it were superbowl every weekend!

watching too much of this game. I should have gone running and done the ski/run double. quads are fried from skiiing, but this game sucks.
Raging at the Basin-beautiful day, but breezy. Left at 3:45. Was at my comfortable abode in the western suburbs of Denver at 4:50, about 5 minutes into the 1st quarter game clock. No traffic to speak of.Been doing the same thing for 30 years-even when the Broncos aren't in it.But a victory is that much sweeter with a bit of ski sunburn, and tired legs.

But when did you get your PM run in?
I did a 2 hour treadmill run during the super bowl. With all the penalties, challenge reviews and illogical rules, football is impossible to watch. I hung in there until they called some bogus personal foul after the play to give the crappy team a first down. Watched the last few minutes of the game a few hours later when I visited my parents.
No interest at all in coldplay, bouncey, or that guy who was spawned from the Right Said Fred brothers named Bruno.
Yo guys are just too cool.
The SB is the biggest non-religious event on the calendar and is about getting together with friends to watch football, commercials and the halftime show.
I don't watch football any other time of year but I look forward to any occasion for a party.
Feel free to go for a run, but just don't be self-righteous about it.

Did you have fun shearing each other's wool?
Santa Clara super bowl buildup was annoying in SF, but Sunday eased the pain. Had 68 degrees and stunning views on the Pacific Coast Trail. Only problem with the Bay Area is plenty of other people had the same idea. Still, only half as crowded as normal and traffic was nonexistent for a Sunday on the Golden Gate.
Ran before, cold and wet from rain, walked in the door, sat down on a towel and they were tossing the coin. I had hoped to time it to the kickoff but maybe next year.
