Last Sunday I was almost hit by a Hummer and nearly died. Today I slipped on a patch of ice an got all shook up. Should I just quit running on Sundays with this string of bad luck?

I live in a cottage heavy area and I can attest that Friday afternoon is the best time to stay off the roads, running or riding. The Citidiots pack their GL's and you are the last thing they are thinking about on the way to the cottage...
You'll be fine, keep at it.
You're running on the Sabbath, what did you expect to happen? The Bible is pretty clear about taking Sundays off. Jesus is watching!
(Kidding, of course. I went for a long run today myself.)
In my city we do not have any dirt trails that are open year round, save for xc skiing trails. Basically on the bikepaths and roads, but the city is really bad at clearing off all of paths due to the urban sprawl, so I'm either fidgeting over ice and snow or taking the secondary route and taking the roads.
Well #king_slayer, looking towards this if everyone start sitting at their homes by the fear of bad luck, fitness will not be seen anywhere. But however it is important for everyone to have some rest and also it is necessary for body, so you can think of rest if you want to.
Sorry to hear that bro. Hopefully next sunday you'll be getting a hummer instead of being hit by one.

Last two sundays went on nice long runs out on some rural roads with rolling hills in beautiful weather. Sounds like its your problem
Yes! All your bad luck has run out for Sundays, so this means you'll have a great run the next two weeks!
