How many 14 flat runners could run that? Not many. I've run 14:12 and there's no way I could've run that workout.

I spent 3 weeks in a different group, but at the same training camp location as Dibaba last Fall in Ethiopia. I can verify that she does her track training only with men, and is likely capable of something near 3:45.
Jama Aden also thinks she can get close to 1:54 in 800 (close enough to challenge the WR). Reiterates the claim she did 6x800: 2:04, 2:03, 2:04, 2:03, 2:02, 1:58.
It's essentially 4 x 1500 at 3k pace or a small tick faster with 4-5 minutes rest. While that's a challenging workout for anyone at their own relative speeds, for someone with her endurance and fitness that's believable. I can see males of high 3:40s and 8:0x shape completing that (but it'd be one of the hardest in the season).
By the same token, 6 x 800 at 1500 pace with 4 minutes rest is doable (but challenging) for a 1500-5000 runner in top shape

It is, just not for her.
at altitude, mind you.
I just don't understand how this can be done cleanly, even with her supernatural genes, ideal training and coaching. I highly suspect Aden has used drugs with his athletes in the past (just look at his stable), and that young Dibaba is the benefactor of some serious stuff.

So sad to say I agree with this. When something in sports nowadays seems too good to be true, it probably is. 2 of Jama's athletes have tested positive in the past and been banned, plus he also oversaw Makloufi's insane performance in 2012. Just doesn't pass the smell test.
Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
I beg to differ. 4-5 minutes rest is basically full recovery.
It is doable for her.
Man, I agree. It sucks. Certainly seems too good to be true. Wonder if that influenced David Torrance's quick departure from Aden's group?
Wow, she is not on drugs and I still believe that lance did not dope!
Two of Aden's athletes in the past were caught doping. He is not exactly a 'clean' coach.
Take a look at Yamauchi's blog - how to spot dopers
!blog/ctib
"Guideline 5: who does the athlete hang out with, who is their coach & agent? Is a clean athlete likely to hang out with drug cheats at training camps and competitions? No! If an agent has many busted athletes on his books, is it likely that his current ‘stars’ are clean? No!"
Take the entire US Championships 1500 field and let one of them race Dibaba every hour on the hour, and she would come away undefeated.

G. Dibaba did what would be the equivalent of a guy doing 4xmi at 3:52, 3:51, 3:50, and 3:49 for the Mi. How is this humanly possible?
No it's not the equivalent of a guy running 3.52; 3.51; 3.50; 3.49. The clock does not run faster for women runners and the equivalent times for a guy running are 4:06, 4:05, 4:03, and 4:02.
Does anyone know what two pupils of Aden have been busted in the past for drug use? What was his coaching extent with Driouch?

From the full version of the interview in Athletics Weekly:
Have there ever been athletes you’ve coached who you thought could be doping?
I’m sure. When Makhloufi won the Olympics [1500m in 2012], people were like: ‘whoa’. I also coached Driouch to [win gold over 1500m at the 2012 World Juniors, who left me, and then he had a problem with doping, and people associate me with that.
[Note: Hamza Driouch was banned in February 2015 for irregularities in his biological passport dating back to the summer of 2012, with his results from August 2, 2012 (a time he was coached by Aden) onwards annulled.]
When did he leave you?
In 2012. It was after he left me the story [about doping] comes out and then he had a coach, Hicham El Guerrouj’s coach, [Abdulkader] Kada. Before we heard the story, the story comes that he fired him, so I don’t know the details.
Did you see Hamza much while coaching him?
He was with me, yes, all the time, in training camps and then the other coach comes, the national coach, he would go back to the federation, but it was a short period. I asked the [Qatari] federation for details and they said the coach is gone, he was bad, and that was the end of the association.
Do you think it was when he moved on from you that he started doping?
It could have been before. I don’t really know what happened.
I have a SR that last season ran 4 x 1600m in 4:23, with 5 min recovery. He has the same PRs over 1500, 3000, 5000m as Dibaba, so I believe it is truly possible. Damn impressive from a female and if this was at altitude.
Why are we talking about this at length? She's obviously doping.
Ok. Doing the math for you:
It's roughly the same as Kiprop doing 3:42, 3:41, 3:39 and 3:38 for 1500s or like 4 x mile in roughly 3:59, 3:58, 3:56, 3:55.
Pikachu
I dont care if she doping or not. Shes an absolute smokeshow. I want to marry her
