If any flat earther can explain what happens to a boat that slowly "sinks into the ocean" as it disappears over the horizon, then I might be inclined to give em' a listen.
This is another repeat question. All of you globetards need to go back to the beginning of the thread and catch up. Locate the discussion about hi-zoom cameras which pick up ships where the naked eye can no longer see. Ships do NOT fall below the horizon. Try again.
The disconnect here is that you are under some delusion that many of the questions raised were ever satisfactorily answered by any flat earther, rather than based on either a misunderstanding/misrepresentation of the “globe model”, or simply denying real observations.
Here you are simply denying the empirical reality that ships disappear over the horizon, from bottom to top, despite universal historical observations as old as ships, with and without telescopes, suggesting that a hi-zoom camera would prove this. In your own words, this is simply wrong and wrong.
There are no shortages of non-CGI photos and videos one can find, for example, here provided by a poster “iskandar taib”:
https://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=29637&start=795Flat-earthers just drop provably false sound bites, like “the horizon always rises to eye level”, and invoke some fictitious “law of perspective” without giving the equations to make predictions, then disappear when proven wrong.
It’s actually quite simple for any flat-earther to prove the flat earth. 1000 years ago, one clever mathematician used the measurable “horizon not rising to eye level” effect to estimate the radius of the earth. The flat-earther can easily do this same experiment himself. If the horizon truly rises to eye-level as you suggest, this flat-earther will measure a dip-angle of zero, and calculate a “divide by zero” infinite calculation of the radius and thus definitively prove the earth is flat. It’s actually much easier today, as anyone with a smartphone app like “Theodolite” or “Dioptra” can give you all the necessary measurements, e.g. from an airplane. Here are some links which explain how:
