Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but why do you call the Toyota Spyder a "fag"? I'm not going to argue - I'm just curious why you say that.
Also, I agree with your list of cool Japanese cars. My brother has the Subaru WRX, and it is one cool car - all that and all wheel drive too.
Flome, I guess "fag" is a little harsh. I am loyal to the original MR2 and I just don't think the MR-Spyder continued the sporting heritage of the original. It's like Toyota felt like they had to water it down to sell it, when in fact, I don't think they sold many at all. It's underpowered and ugly in my opinion. If they had offered a turbo version or something with a little more power I would probably think differently.
I believe your brother has one of the best all-around cars in the world. Four doors, all-wheel drive, Subaru reliability(no matter what Tom Anderson says), and great performance put the WRX near the top of my list. If you can only have one car to do it all, there aren't many that can beat the WRX. My favorite is silver with no wing - the ultimate in stealth performance. I plan on getting one in the next few years and my wife and I laugh at what her redneck family would think when we pull up in that. "Oh, they got a little Subaru. How nice." They would have no idea how fast the car really is. Fortunately, not many people on the road know it either, which is how I like it.
