Rojo you are the smartest!
What a stacked women's 5000!!!
Seriously though, Cam is looking pretty bad right now. Not a bad race for Jenkins to start the year
Should we start our own thread. He's BAAAAAACK baby!!!
Andrew Wheating FTW in the 1500. A great showing for him this early in the year.

Why did they run 1500's? Such a pointless distance. Every American kid right now is "yawn"

Screw it, Wheating got his own thread -
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=6987907- but I posed it as a question after I realized he opened up at 3:38 last year and never ran faster.
I entitled the thread, "Is he Baaaaack????? Andrew Wheating 3:39 FTW!!!! "
I think 3:39.82 is a solid opener , regardless of last year,
But let's face it this has to be a year for Wheating. If he does not drop down to 800 at under 1:45 and run somewhere near 3:52 mile this indoors now? What is out there?
Guys are just improving too fast.

Perhaps they need to qualify for something.
Anyone watch the 800? Jock and Wheating are listed as DNF's. Were the pacing, doing it as a workout?

Hey, I know a couple of people in the mile and 800. I'm gonna have to hop in one of these meets.
5000 results?
I talked to Wheating for a second after his 800. He had strict orders to stop at 600. He was pretty pumped afterwards though, he said he felt really good going through 600 in second behind Jock and really wanted to finish the race.
Looks like Roesler is healthy again.
Didn't NIck Symmonds run a 3:34 1500m indoors a month or so ago?
What's 3:39 if he ran the whole mile?
troll, but 3:57.4 via *1.08
So why did Jenkins say he was injured and wasnt racing then went ahead & raced. Loves the attention.
Because its a championship distance. The mile is not.
