I feel like the same person is making all these anti-Cabada posts. The crappy writing and near-broken English is the same in all of them.
i don't think he will, but it'll be funny if cabada runs amazingly at the trials after this 2:18 . then we'll see if these Letsrun experts change their tune....

haha Wow FC is full of himself, he is acting like he just won a Gold medal in the Olympics!
https://www.facebook.com/FernandoCabada26.2This may just be the race he was peaking for, especially considering his recent post.....
WOW, he has really swung low, here....
Why is Cabada quoting Mike Rossi???
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzhW4YAVqxoI was just about too say the same thing....weird quote.
Seems like he must be struggle right now with training after that hard marathon. Because he has not posted a single thing in how he feels, training, etc....the end of cabada asss is here.
My question is this - which is tougher to achieve? 2:19 in the marathon or 1:05 in the half. I know a lot of people that ran the marathon trying to qualify when they only needed to run the half. My only guess is that they truly thought the marathon was the easier choice. Then again, I also suppose most of those just wanted to get to the trials and enjoy the experience. Time may not matter to them.
His chances of making the Olympics went from 8%-2%
Call me slim,
EXACTLY......
Can I add something here,
I am a Cabada supporter of sorts, I follow him on social media and what not. Sure, a 2:18 marathon was probably ill advised 4 weeks out. But who I am to speak, I can't even do 5k at his MP.
My only concern is that he's been training in Mexico lately. Now that's super sketchy. Friggin Mexico? Come on man, aside from an altitude stint in Morocco that's probably the sketchiest place you can go for a training block.
On FB, Cabada posted this yesterday:
"Back on the simple routine of mine here in Zacatecas. Drinking Kenyan tea and Eating "Kenyan Ugali. Jogged 5 miles yesterday and got in a double day today (8 miles and 5 miles). Legs are coming around! Thursday I'll have a hard effort and then Sunday I will be racing in Mexico for the first time, a half marathon (1:04-1:05 specific pace). Still a bit of work to do."
And you guys think he will surprise us at the trials? What is wrong with you people. Now he is running a Half Marathon...GEZZZZZ.....Not good for all you Cabada Fans.
Interesting. The post was removed.
See, Something is going on here... I just looked at it, and it has been removed...hmmmmm
Remember he is training with a bunch of D Kenyans, and EPO does not work on Africans. hahah B.S. works on MEXICANS Too.
to be fair, I have a friend who has dual citizenship, was a "B standard" sort of guy, so he moved to zacatecas (uses the same track cabada has posted pics on) to train, as it was (1) cheap, (2) altitude, and (3) put him in the good graces of the mexican federation. he's since been on a couple teams (non-world, such as pan am, etc) so it's sorta paid off. he says he gets by on about $500/month, for rent, food, massage, etc. basically he's living off of money he already had saved up, so all he has to do is hit just a little prize money and he's good.
no judgement either way on why cabada is there, just saying htere's actually reasonable explanations for why someone would go there to train (plus lots of training partners, apparently).
You forgot money for the DRUGS!
The good stuff which he probably is getting is roughly 350-400 a month. So its expensive, but maybe why he is racing these foolish races?
FC is done...Just like all the other athletes Brad has Coached. toast!
Here's an interview with Cabada before the 2012 trials. He did the Huntsville Marathon about 5 weeks before the trials in a similar effort and still ran a PR at the trials.

He was tested 15 times in 2015, which was more than Ritz, True, Derrick, and the same amount as Meb. He's clean.
