Country Club. I got members their golf bags if they wanted to play, washed carts, and cleaned clubs when people got done playing. $7.95/hour was my base pay (minimum wage in Ohio at the time), but I easily made another $200 in tips on nice weekends.

I worked as a camp counselor (Westrey) throughout high school. Junior Counselor, CIT, Counselor, Manager, Program Director were all positions I held working there.
Some of my favorite times were going over to Catalina Island as part of the advance group that did maintenance on the cabins of our overnight camp. One of my least favorite duties was sanding the scuff marks on the pools left by some vandal skateboarders.
Another job I held was working at a Phiddipedes shoe store. Crummy pay, but I got great deals on shoes.
I worked at an auto parts factory in Watts one summer. I riveted and glued brake shoes, milled brake drums, ringed pistons, pressed bearings, cleaned toilets, picked up parts from the dock, delivered parts to auto repair shops, rolled dice, smoked alot weed, dropped some acid, ....
Last summer I worked two jobs, days at the city water department and nights/weekends at a wine bar/restaurant.
The water department sucked, most of the time I spent driving around to perform maintenance on valves or paint fire hydrants while my coworker listened to Lars Larson (conservative talk radio). The only perk about that job was I was guaranteed 40 hours a week, got every other friday off since I worked 9 hour days, and the pay was great (a little less than 1.5 times minimum wage).
The wine bar was fun, my boss and coworkers were cool and it was only super busy 2 times a week. When I left at the end of the summer my boss, who used to be a professional artist, painted a cubist/abstract picture of me which was really weird.
