I'm not making fun of anyone. Sorry that it sounded that way, but...it's totally ridiculous to say that a runner is training for the turns. I've broken 2:30, no big deal, but my marathon training plan, which you asked me to offer, is that I would never "train for the turns" in any race that I've run or will in the future. If my pr was 2:14, I'd say the same thing. It is a ridiculous thing to say and I don't know how else to explain it. We're runners, we don't train to run a certain way around a turn, that's just micro managing to an insane level that does absolutely nothing. I don't have to be smarter than Kevin or Keith, both great guys, but that's a ridiculous thing to say and I guess in that aspect of training, yes, I'd consider myself smarter. Also, there is no secret to training. Train hard and "fairly" smart with rest in between and a talented runner, on average, won't do much differently from coach to coach as most of them pretty much do the same thing...it's really not rocket science, trust me. Brian Sell would have ran within plus or minus 30 seconds with one of the many other respectable coaches in the country.

I can't tell if you are making fun of me, Rojo, or the Hansons. The most logical assumption is that you are making fun of the Hansons as they are the ones who were quoted saying that Desi is training specifically for the turns.
Please offer your marathon training plan in response to this post. If you are smarter or a better "winner" than the Hansons, then I am genuinely interested in what you have to say.
